Monkeys tied to metal structures, as well as cats and dogs left for dead, were shown in footage, which, according to human rights activists, was filmed in a German toxicology laboratory.
German animal activist organization Soko Tierschutz, along with Cruelty Free International, say the alleged torture of living beings took place at the LPT (Laboratory of Pharmacology and Toxicology) in Minenbüttel, on the outskirts of Hamburg, Germany.
The heartbreaking photographs show macaques tied to metal structures in a row under the wall, their bodies fixed, making them unable to escape, while the poor beagle in another picture is shown sitting next to blood stains on the floor.
One activist, while working undercover, reportedly got a job at a research center, where he worked from December 2018 to March 2019, saying that he witnessed trials on beagles, monkeys, cats, and rabbits for companies around the world.
Also, a secret officer said that the animals were kept in terrible conditions. So, beagles were tortured in various ways, including pumping drugs, often leaving them to bleed after experiments.

It is also reported that the laboratory also has cats, which its employees give up to 13 injections a day, because of which they have to suffer.
The activists reported these illegal and inhumane actions to the police, which hastened to launch an investigation.
They also argue that laws in Germany protecting animals from experimentation are not strict enough, which is why they require the authorities to tighten them.
LPT is a family-owned toxicology testing laboratory for pharmaceutical, industrial and agrochemical companies around the world to meet government and regulatory requirements.
