An unknown animal terrorizes the village of Crimea in the Poltava region: it opens cages with rabbits, strangles them, sucks blood, and carefully stores the carcasses.
Neither high fences nor strong cages could stop the impudent ripper. An unknown creature committed a real robbery in the village that night. Lyubov Kartashova still cannot understand how he managed so quickly, and most importantly, quietly to stifle almost all the animals in the yard.

After such revelations, alarming rumors spread throughout the village: a Chupacabra came to Crimea. Not everyone knows what kind of animal it is, but they prefer to stay away from him and the children are not allowed out of the house once again, because in the Poltava region three years ago the rabbit ripper had already appeared and for several days kept the inhabitants of the village of Novosergeevka in fear.
However, not everyone believes in the mystical origin of the bloodsucker. Local huntsmen have already studied the tracks and are now arguing over who attacked the animals - a raccoon dog or a wolverine, and at the same time are planning a raid on the intruder. Nobody is going to forgive almost a hundred strangled rabbits to the ripper. True, when going on a night watch, the hunters joke that it would not hurt to take silver bullets with them.
