It may seem to a thoughtful and analytical person that a typical representative of the Western world does not fully understand the concept of Motherland, at least the way we understand it. For centuries, their emasculated upbringing system, poisoned today by globalism and tolerance, has erased this concept, it seems, completely, tightly.

And nevertheless, something does not give them rest, pulls, inexplicably drags them to the East of Eurasia - to their genetic homeland, the birthplace of their Kin. But this unconscious impulse, due to the absence of a Soul, is interpreted by the Western world (now, first of all, the States) in the only way known to itself: I need it - it means I must take it away!

And here the mechanism of preservation of the species turns on - from the East they flew so many times on their faces that the attraction to the genetic homeland turns into fear at the subconscious level - from there Death comes to them! Maybe all their fables and horror stories about an incomprehensible, barbaric territory - Russia, Tartaria, Scythia - originate from here?

Hellenic tales of the world

The entire modern Western world considers itself a product of the Roman world. And those, in turn, are a product of Greek culture. It must be admitted that the ancient Greeks were still inventors! They did not hesitate to fantasize, tastefully thinking out and embellishing (or demonizing - according to the degree of influence on the Hellenistic world) emerging information about peoples and countries.

It is thanks to the reverent attitude of Western culture that all the more or less interesting objects (space - almost all of them) and phenomena were and continue to be called using Greek mythology. We have all heard about Hyperborea, centaurs, Amazons, the serpentine goddess. The most interesting thing is that they are all related to the Scythians!

Centaurs - the image of the eastern barbarians

Centaurs are one of the most ancient mythological creatures. It is not known for certain which people were the first to come up with the myth about this amazing tribe. Mostly (naturally) ancient Greek legends about wild mortal creatures with the head and torso of a man and the body of a horse have come down to us.

There is a version that the Greeks faced with the Scythians in the Northern Black Sea region, who used horses not only for economic, but also for military purposes, were so amazed at the skill of nomadic riders that they came up with a myth about a single creature: the man-horse.

Approximately the same reaction was given by later Western travelers when confronted with the life and customs of nomadic tribes, describing the amazing unity of the rider and the horse under him. Some even assumed that nomads did not get off their horses for years, having learned to do everything necessary for life on horseback.

The Greeks, who thought they were the only civilized nation, took the centaurs away from their gods:

Why exactly the man-horses were born is not explained, but the myth is fairly well known.

The Greeks considered the centaurs to be savages with an unbridled disposition, incapable of agriculture and science. True, there were exceptions, for example Chiron, who taught Achilles, Jason and even Hercules, as well as Foul, a personal friend of Hercules, which is interesting, the last of both centaurs "accidentally" decided.

Amazons are a mixture of warriors and eroticism

Another of the most stable and common myths among many peoples - the Amazons - in ancient Greek mythology, a people that consisted exclusively of women who could not bear husbands with them, went on campaigns under the leadership of their queen and formed a special warlike state.

According to legend (again Greek), the Amazons descended from Ares and Harmony. To reproduce offspring, the Amazons entered into contact with men of other peoples. They sent the born boys to their fathers (according to another version, they killed them), from the girls they raised new Amazons.

Almost all ancient classics wrote about them: Homer, Herodotus, Plutarch and so on. They placed them in the region of the Northern Black Sea region, the Caspian Sea, the Caucasian ridge and the Don. The campaigns of the Amazons to Attica, the war with the Greeks on the side of Troy are described.

Many Greek heroes, such as Hercules, Theseus, Achilles - up to Alexander the Great - were especially distinguished in battles with the Amazons and noted their courage and fighting spirit.

But Mavro Orbini in 1601 assumed that the Amazons were the wives of the Sarmatian Slavs and lived on the banks of the Volga between the Melanchelenians and the Serbs, which by the way is confirmed by archaeological finds

Burial mounds, in which women are found buried with military weapons and having characteristic damage to bones and skulls, are found in abundance in the vast territories of Eurasia from the borders of modern China to Hungary.

Here the logic can be traced: the Greeks considered Scythia, the territory of the Northern Black Sea region, Azov and the Caspian, and the Amazons were also localized there, although they separated them from ordinary nomads. That is, they placed them where they could get. In fact, the territory of Scythia is the entire steppe Eurasia, where legends about women warriors exist everywhere.

Some stories told, for example, by Herodotus, directly point to the same. Men shared these stories with each other during rampant orgies. At the same time, according to Herodotus, they "diluted" their stories with a fair amount of eroticism. Because usually the Amazons, being alone or three, offered sexual pleasures to the Scythians. As a result, they persuaded the Scythians to go with them to the lands north of the Meotian Lake, as the ancient Greeks called the Sea of Azov.

The Amazons, as it were, occupied an intermediate place between ordinary women and male partners among the Greeks (they considered it a common thing), having absorbed a significant part of erotic fantasies from both one and the other. Some unattainable dream, when you want and prick …
