Today I want to touch on the topic of Egypt, but not quite the distant past, say, in the region of 500-1000 years ago. This is because some moments in the history of Egypt raise many questions for me, which are problematic to answer.

From the photographs of the 18th-19th centuries, I always had the impression that something large-scale and destructive happened in Egypt, and possibly all over the world. In order, I will explain, using the example of Egypt, why such an opinion.

I'll start with the "abandonment" of objects in all its manifestations. I wrote a separate article about this, but I will touch on here in general, since the topic of the article is suitable.

If we touch on the period, for example, the XVI-XVII centuries and earlier, everything was in order with Egypt, and as far as I remember, historians of that time wrote about amazing pyramids, etc.

But after that, already in the 19th century, everyone found "for the first time", almost all the temples, like Abu Simbel and many others, were partly destroyed, and almost completely covered with sand.

As for the sphinx and the pyramids, they were abandoned and the same sphinx was more than half covered with sand.

In addition, there are enough pictures from somewhere in the 18th century, where not only ancient structures, but also some cities in Egypt were in ruins for unknown reasons.

Once they wrote to me that supposedly most of Egypt with ancient buildings was not needed by anyone before the start of the tourism business, but this is nonsense. In any case, there are some enthusiasts, historians, people with a certain belief in something that, for example, pyramids mean something more.

In general, this version is not very believable. And yes, besides this, some objects, like Osirion, were flooded, and there are several such examples, I recently wrote about the underground city.

To summarize, everything turns out as if people did not exist in Egypt before the 19th century, since everything was abandoned, destroyed, flooded, buried under sand, etc.

In addition, in Egypt there are quite a few places with traces of the effect of high temperatures, and, accordingly, subsequent melting, or slight charring.

One way or another, it is quite difficult to explain just like that any traces of the effect of high temperatures on a stone and many structures, although no one specifically explains them.

By the way, I would like to separately mention the destruction of some elements in the structures. For example, some statues, temples, the same sphinx and its nose. Although many attribute this to a much earlier period, this has not been proven.

And considering all these destruction discovered in the 19th century, it should not be ruled out that all this "broke" somewhere in that time period, although this also cannot be proved.

In general, it's time to draw all this to a conclusion. I will not write specifically about some forgotten by history war 300-400 years ago, because now I don't want to argue with people on this topic, everyone draws their own conclusions from the facts.

But it seems to me that such destruction and the significant fact of the complete abandonment of objects cannot mean anything. For example, the same statues and temples in Egypt, which were considered (and still are) sacred, simply could not be abandoned by people for no reason.

In addition, much indicates that Egypt has not yet been fully explored, since some discoveries were made at the end of the 20th century, although the objects were estimated to be thousands of years old.

Personally, my opinion is that history is silent about some significant period of time somewhere in the XVII-XVIII centuries, but again, this is the opinion and conclusions of everyone. Here I wrote more about Egypt and some facts about which many probably did not know, or knew little.
