A case from distant childhood, though not mine, but my aunt's. It happened in the early eighties, when she was about nine years old. She grew up in the city, and then she suddenly had to move to her grandmother in the village, as far as I know, some family problems. And it so happened that an already frightened child became a victim of something terrible.
The village where Aunt Olya moved was of an industrial type, that is, before there was no larger production, namely a small factory. The ruins of this small factory were chosen by all the local kids, taking turns telling each other stories about how scary it is. To be honest, he looked really scary from the outside. In addition to the obvious danger of getting any kind of injury, it was easy to get lost there. If not in the factory itself, then at least in a huge basement, the entrance to which was located in a small house.
According to legend, this basement connected all the buildings of this plant, or even led to a secret bunker. Aunt Olya was afraid even to just walk up to this place, let alone wander there, although the guys tried to provoke her. But since my aunt's grandmother was quite strict, so there could be no question of a walk in this place. And the most terrible, and from the grandmother will get. As often happens, chance decided everything.
On one sunny September day, right after school, the guys went on a small hike. And then Vasya take one of them and offer to play hide and seek. Only special hide and seek, where one of the guys was blindfolded and taken to some place where he had to look for other participants. The game is entertaining, everyone liked it, everything is more interesting than just sitting, but then Olya's turn came.
All according to the rules, closed their eyes, and led somewhere. This turned out to be an old factory somewhere, but the guys were not going to hide there, but gradually fled from there. And as soon as Olga took off the bandage, she could not believe her eyes. She did not even have time to really get scared, apparently not completely believing the fact of being in this place. Judge for yourself: it is already getting dark on the street, there is not a soul around, and this is a terrible place. Naturally, the girl began to shiver through the dark rooms.
In the end, she found a way out pretty quickly. Olya even felt somehow ashamed that she had been afraid of this place before. And then she decided to challenge herself, to go down to this dark basement, which was located in a small extension. No sooner said than done, and within a few minutes she was wandering through the real catacombs, which very soon ended with a massive iron door. The disappointed Olya was already going to leave when a light knock was heard at the door.

Needless to say, the girl was simply confused, at the same time the knocking intensified, and after a few minutes the door was shaking. At this moment, Olya seemed to wake up, rushing out of this basement. But the horror did not even think of leaving the girl, since real chaos began in the house itself, something gave, beat against the walls, rumbled. Perhaps it was construction waste, of which there was more than enough, only the creature that threw it Olya did not see.
With tears, she rushed away from this place, running home. At the same time, the time was already by nine in the evening, and the punctual grandmother began to worry about where the granddaughter was. And I was shocked when I saw Olya, dirty and crying. After listening, calming and washing the granddaughter, the grandmother said that there was nothing wrong with that. It's just that earlier on the site of the plant there was an old churchyard, which for some reason everyone forgot about during construction.
Therefore, the reputation of this place is terrible, and the locals once again try not to meddle there, instilling this idea in their children. That is why Olya's friends ran away from there so quickly. Someone might think that Olya became even more afraid of this place, partly it was possible, but the most important thing that Olya understood after this incident is that you need to respect such places.
