Who has not heard of the Bermuda Triangle? This sinister secret is still beyond the control of the human mind, like Atlantis or the Loch Ness monster! Yes, it is the very same mysterious triangle in the Atlantic Ocean between Florida, Bermuda and Puerto Rico. This area is also called "the devil's triangle", and it "became famous" for the numerous disappearances of aircraft and ships in it.

It is believed that over the past hundred years, he "took" more than 1000 (!) Human lives. For example, in 1945 alone, 75 aircraft and 300 boats disappeared here, leaving no trace. The last victim of the triangle was the cargo ship El Faro in 2015.

There are the most incredible hypotheses explaining this devilry, up to the tricks of aliens or inhabitants of Atlantis. Cynics and skeptics believe that everything is simple, and the anomalies in this area are quite understandable: navigation here is quite difficult, plus the presence of numerous shoals, and instantly formed storms and cyclones really complicate the life of pilots and sailors. And although these arguments are quite logical, how can one explain the fact that the disappearance of ships and aircraft in geographically small Bermuda is several times greater than the number of disappearances in any other part of the vast Atlantic Ocean?

So Vladimir Vysotsky sang everything correctly "… about the powerlessness of science in front of the secret of Bermuda"?

From time to time it is reported about the next find and therefore the solution to the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle. For example, after finding a 200-foot (that is, 60.96 m) giant squid on a Florida beach, they immediately remembered the semi-mythical history of the Cyclops ship, which disappeared with a crew of 309 people. Then at first there was an official version of the navy that the ship was apparently attacked by a submarine, but later an almost fantastic theory appeared about a possible attack by a giant squid.

In 2005, local biologists were even able to film a squid attacking nets in the water. Here is the proof that such a creature may well inhabit the waters of the Bermuda Triangle and attack ships.

The opinion of the Bermuda researcher Rob Simone was also cited: “We do not know what is in the depths of the ocean. It may well be a gigantic creature, because of which ships disappear in this area."

But in recent years, with the advent of the technical capabilities of the new millennium for the study of the Bermuda phenomenon, not just theories appear, but practical conclusions supported by modern data, which may well put a fat point in the history of the mysterious triangle. So, the weather researcher in the mysterious zone, Steve Miller from Colorado, together with the Coast Guard, came to very interesting and very plausible conclusions.

By carefully studying satellite images of the triangle zone, Steve came up with an interesting theory about the area's air anomaly. With the help of modern optics and computer technologies, the obtained photos were maximized, and it was possible to quite clearly distinguish clouds of a very strange and regular hexagonal (!) Shape. This interesting shape of the clouds is taken by the ocean itself.

Evaporating from shallow water zones, moisture rises into the cold atmosphere, thus creating a kind of framework for the clouds. According to Miller's theory, these clouds drift over Bermuda for some time at a speed of up to 274 km / h, and then “explode”, creating powerful air currents. It is they who carry in themselves a serious danger to everything that comes their way.

An air blast wave rushes to the water surface, creating a zone of catastrophic turbulence, which even the most modern aircraft cannot overcome. And when a powerful wave of air hits the water surface, then there is also a kind of local mini-tsunami with a wave height of up to 40 meters!

The meteorologist's team even had the unique opportunity to observe one such monster wave in the ocean. Then they were lucky, and she passed by, but became an obvious proof of the correctness of Miller's theory of such "air bombs".

And although, as Vysotsky sang, "… even if it's a crazy idea, don't cut it in the heat of the moment," some scientists believe that, with the confirmation of Miller's theory, the mystery of the triangle has already been finally revealed. And now there is one less ominous secret on Earth. But whether this theory (even with some practical confirmation of the idea) can be considered an unambiguous answer to a long-standing mystery, only time and further research will show.
