Reddit user @leekfluffy described the miraculous transformations that happened to her husband after removing a brain tumor. The woman said that her husband was a tyrant from the very beginning of the relationship, but he completely changed after the operation.

According to her, she and her husband have been married for four years, three years ago they had a daughter. The author of the post emphasized that all this time their relationship was abusive. The man beat her and manipulated her.

“Once, before the wedding, I tried to leave, but he broke into my parents' house and dragged me into his car. In addition, he threatened that he would kill me if I tried to leave him again,”the woman said. She clarified that she had always loved her husband, but four months ago she firmly decided to divorce and began to prepare an escape plan.

A month ago, her husband had a brain tumor removed. After the operation, he became a completely different person. “Now he is more empathetic and compassionate. He no longer hits me and does not shout at me,”the woman described the changes. She added that her husband recently burst into tears and began to apologize when he saw a scar on her shoulder from his blow.

The author of the post noted that her sister does not believe in a miraculous transformation and continues to insist on a divorce. She advises a Reddit user to live away from someone who might beat her up if he doesn't like dinner, or lock her up in the closet after an argument. “Am I crazy if I want to give our marriage a second chance? I love him even more, but part of me suspects that his changes are actually a game and that one day he will be the same,”she summed up and asked for advice from Reddit users.

In the comments, many agreed that the man could really change, but they advised the woman not to relax. “After brain surgery, people often change, but old habits come back. Just remember this,”wrote rtroth2946. “I would say it's worth getting a divorce, but staying together. Now he is much more friendly and understanding, the more he feels remorse for what he has done. If his old behavior returns after a couple of years, it will be difficult for you to divorce him. If it doesn't come back, you can live happily together and even get married again,”added hiregar.
