NASA researchers conducted experiments in Antarctica and found evidence that a parallel universe, like ours, was formed as a result of the Big Bang. However, in it, the laws of physics most likely work in the opposite direction. This is reported by the DailyStar edition. (esoreiter.ru)

Since the middle of the last century, scientists have been trying to figure out whether we really live in a "multiverse", but so far no clear evidence has been found.

An experiment conducted by scientists to detect cosmic rays revealed particles that may belong to another universe.

NASA's Pulsed Transitional Antenna (ANITA), located in Antarctica, uses a huge balloon to launch special antennas high above Antarctica. There is practically no radio noise in these layers that could affect the results of the experiment.

There is a constant stream of high-energy particles in the atmosphere that comes from space. And some of them are almost a million times more powerful than those that humans can create.

Low-energy particles - neutrinos are able to pass through the earth, while almost not interacting with the matter of our planet. However, higher energy objects are inhibited by solid matter of the Earth.

This suggests that high energy particles are only detected when they come from space. It turns out that if heavier particles (tau neutrinos) are found that go up from the Earth, then this means that these particles actually move back in time. Just this effect was seen by NASA scientists in Antarctica.

ANITA Principal Investigator Peter Gorham believes that the only time this would be possible is if this particle turned into a different type of particle before it passed through the Earth and then returned again. This event is possible with a probability of a billion to one, that is, it can happen only once. However, the team of scientists discovered several similar phenomena.

Researchers have the simplest explanation for this event: when the Big Bang happened, two Universes arose simultaneously - in which we exist and another, in which the laws of physics act in the opposite direction.
