From the records that the associates made for her grandmother, it is known: back in the 70s of the last century, she predicted at the end of the first decade of this century an epidemic of some new viral disease that would rapidly spread across all continents and claim many lives - up to 100 million, if you believe "Additions" to this gloomy prophecy, which began to appear in recent times.
Few people know: Wanga said that an epidemic of a "new viral disease" would begin in Africa. China did not mention at all. I was wrong. But they prefer not to remember this. Pay attention to something else: the grandmother promised that it would take a whole year to create a vaccine against the oncoming infection. And this is almost a 100% hit. Doctors allot such a period - along with clinical trials, of course.
Vanga is credited with more impressive statements, which quite directly indicate the current situation. For example, this: “A terrible disease will rage on the planet! They also refer to the following words: "People will fall for no apparent reason and, at first glance, healthy." However, it is doubtful that my grandmother prophesied so specifically - it was not typical for her. Although the style is similar.
Epidemics happen regularly. Therefore, anyone in the eye of future infections can be considered a prophecy.
God forbid that "Vanga's main prophecy about a new viral disease", in which she allegedly claimed that the epidemic would subside by mid-spring, was not a fake. That is, by mid-April 2020. And that "Russia will cope."

And among the prophecies of Michel Nostradamus, better known to us under the name Nostradamus, you can find at least one that will more or less correspond to the current epidemiological situation in the world. For example, quatrain 22 from the First Century, which has come down to us from the Middle Ages, reads: "Destruction and death will ride on science, all life will lose both value and meaning."
However, such a mysterious phrase will work for many other things.
Other "puzzles" of Nostradamus are now considered relevant in social networks. Several at once: "The plague around Capadilla, Sagont is also threatened by famine", "A very great plague will come to a big rift, a close salvation, but the cure is far away", "A great plague and war, hunger and death will be seen far away", "Mont Blanc, Nimes, Avignon and Beziers, Plague, thunder and hail near Mars: from the Parisian bridge, the Lyon wall, Montpellier, after six hundred and seven, scored three pairs."
The key word here is "plague." Enthusiasts claim that Nostradamus used this term that he understood for some terrible disease that he "saw" - namely, the epidemic of the coronavirus infection that brutally struck Italy and Spain. After all, the quatrains are about these countries.
Perhaps the prophet also received the economic crisis accompanying the "plague"? He predicted that "Rich people will be ruined overnight, and the world will be plunged into turmoil."
Most recent prophecy: from a physicist
During the last 10 years of his life, the British physicist - Professor Stephen Hawking, speaking to one or another audience, always expressed any fears about the future of humanity. "Stephen Hawking's Fears" is the name given to them by journalists.
"Fears" were published the year before last - included in the book "Small Answers to the Big Questions" (Brief Answers to the Big Questions) - "Short answers to serious questions" in another translation.
The professor was afraid of many things: the visit of evil aliens, the fact that the Earth would overheat and become uninhabitable, he feared artificial intelligence that would enslave people. He was frightened by the prospect of robotic soldiers, devoid of any moral hesitation.
But most of all, the scientist was afraid of nuclear and, most importantly, biological weapons. He predicted the appearance of genetically modified viruses. The scientist was not reassured by the assurances of colleagues, they say, all "biology" is under control. He had no doubt that one day some incredibly infectious and indestructible little thing, artificially created, would break out of the laboratory and go to "mow" people. Up to the last person.
Hawking is definitely a prophet. His very specific fears are justified.
SARS-CoV-2 (Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2), aka 2019-nCoV (2019 novel coronavirus) in an earlier version, aka Wuhan coronavirus - isn't this new strain of coronavirus the embodiment of Stephen Hawking's fear? Appropriate, given the scale of the epidemic and the death toll.
Suspicions of the artificial origin of a malicious little thing that causes an unprecedented SARS look quite reasonable. Despite numerous assurances from highly respected virologists that the infection appeared naturally - it spread itself to humans from bats as a result of some close contacts in Chinese food markets.
The epidemic started in Wuhan, where the Chinese authorities opened the Institute of Virology in 2018. Such a coincidence does not seem entirely accidental.
It is known that the Americans also experimented with coronaviruses. Themselves reported back in 2015 in the journal Nature about how they crossed the SARS virus with a coronavirus borrowed from bats. The result of the experiments could well somehow "leak" - at least to the same China.
We were warned. But we didn't understand anything. However, it was difficult to understand. People, as always, realize in hindsight how wise prophets can be.
