The Chupacabra is considered a mystical animal of the planet with a vampire inclination, which brings living beings to death by sucking blood. As it is well known and described by many, Chupacabra in Spanish means goat vampire, "sucking goat".

The history of the famous creature that kills pets dates back to ancient times. Since ancient times, people have been telling terrible legends about the night hunter.

Chupacabra hunts exclusively at night. A blood-hungry demon attacks helplessly dormant animals, sucks blood to the last drop in one gulp and quickly disappears into the darkness of the night.

People, more than once, opening the corrals, found the bloodless bodies of animals, literally dried up to the state of a mummy. On the body of the dead cattle, there were small, rounded wounds - often in the neck. It is rightly believed that it was through punctures that blood was sucked out like a powerful pump.

Surprisingly, while examining the sites of night incidents, they could never find even a drop of blood nearby. Probably, in the past, this served as the basis for mystical stories about a vampire - the monstrous Chupacabra. The animals were found either already dead or half-dead, but a predatory beast was never seen nearby.

Mysterious Chupacabra

One of the extremely unpleasant cases of the middle of the last century is attributed by popular rumor to Chupacabra. Then a herd of 70-ten head of cattle died. What happened is completely incomprehensible, but it should be noted that most of those killed lost their organs: tongue, tail, ears, nose, liver, brain, heart. Could a night demon have done this?

Moreover, as noted by veterinarians, the removal of organs was done in a professional way, as if the operation was performed by specialists in their field. By its very nature, this is reminiscent of the popularized case of cattle being mutilated by the alleged research activities of aliens.

Meanwhile, Chupacabra does not give preference to any one species of animals.

Almost everyone who is in its field of vision becomes victims of the cursed evil spirits - from small birds to large livestock.

In fact, the mystery of the Chupacabra's origin has been extremely intriguing to people for many decades. The mystery remains open throughout the history of the strange phenomenon - is it a beautiful fiction of mythology about a night demon, or a real-life monster?

In addition, the bloodsucker is not always with us. He comes periodically, as if having drunk blood, Chupacabra goes into hibernation until hunger again raises the hunt.

Scientists from different countries and communities of inquisitive researchers seek to penetrate into the secret of the night vampire. But, despite all attempts to comprehend the riddle of the Chupacabra, there is still no definite answer to the questions associated with this blood-sucking creature.

If we share the opinions of sufficiently respected researchers, then Chupacabra can be considered just a large bat. Or to recognize it as a crazy coyote, maddened by bloodlust. Such proposals, in principle, are able to explain why all the blood was sucked out of the victims without any mystical background.

Among scientists, one can hear the opinion that Chupacabra is an ordinary predator (coyote, fox, jackal), which has been greatly modified in the process of past diseases, and accordingly mutated into a bloodthirsty monster.

Geneticists, for example, do not exclude the possibility that Chupacabra is a mutated predator that has passed a genetic experiment in a laboratory. But due to a fatal mistake by the staff, the mutant fled to freedom.

Indeed, most often animals for experiments are kangaroos, rabbits and … bats - recognized nocturnal vampires. By the way, the latter can actually do what is attributed to Chupacabra.

However, the version with a genetic mutant from the laboratory is frankly weak. After all, references to Chupacabra come from almost biblical times, when special laboratories were not yet created. - Well, except that the aliens are really "naughty".

Ethnological and cultural experts offer their own version of the mystical phenomenon. Thus, representatives of African-American pagans, who are still engaged in sacrifices, are suspected of the frightening death of livestock. They drain blood from animals, then use it in eerie religious rites.

Marie-Helena Oyo, director of the Chapultepe Zoo in Mexico City, describing the events at the time, explained the customs of the tribes based on religion, including the acts of sacrifice.

If we rely on the descriptions of existing rituals, then the shamans of the local places using a special tool inflicted two injections on the animal, after which all the blood was drained from the body. By the way, a local woman in killing rabbits and goats pointed to the Devil! She noticed that always, before the appearance of devastated animals, the smelly smell of sulfur was felt.

Exotic versions of the elusive vampire are popular, returning us to secret laboratories and experiments with genetics. According to some claims, Chupacabra is a mutant monster that escaped from an American military base where genetic experiments were carried out on a dog.

An amazing version of the appearance of an individual is associated with UFOs, and pilots of flying saucers. They say that the vampire was unintentionally brought to Earth by aliens. For the aliens themselves, the Chupacabra is a cute pet, similar to our cats and hamsters. But on Earth, a bad character of a bloodsucker woke up in the little animal.

In another case, these are the enlonauts themselves, crashed and ugly feral in the conditions of our habitat. Or maybe they originally feed on blood, who knows these aliens. Some are even sure that the bloodsucker does not belong to our reality, Chupacabra only comes to us to hunt from a parallel world.

Dagoberto Corante, the Chilean architect, based on information from the staff of the local laboratory, assures: three experimental monsters have escaped from the secret basements of NASA, which they are capturing to this day. Yes, and local residents reported that in areas where the "goat vampire" attacked animals, then people and equipment with the NASA logo always appeared.

The craziest version even convinces that NASA themselves brought the "goat vampire" to the planet by dragging it from the Moon - supposedly the beast survived a UFO crash. And of course, the story of the monster cannot pass by the incident in Roswell. The mysterious Chupacabra is a pilot of a crashed flying saucer who has been successfully hiding from agency employees for many years.

Meanwhile, researchers who oppose the theory of the Chupacabra's connection with "flying saucers" declare: a beast of local origin, an ancient inhabitant of the planet. True, a small population of these animals has survived to modern days.

The activity of bloodsuckers over the past couple of decades is due to the influence of some unknown factor, for example, nuclear / chemical weapons tests, which is why the population of this rare species has increased significantly. The halo of habitat expanded, and tormenting hunger forced them to go beyond their usual habitats and hunting.

Victims of the mystical Chupacabra

In 1975, Puerto Rico was again hit by a wave of unexplained livestock deaths after a 25-year hiatus. Almost all victims died not as a result of any injuries inflicted on them, but due to complete exsanguination. The reason for the mysterious incidents remained then unknown, but twenty years later, in 1995, the terrible events repeated themselves - Chupacabra returned!

In March 1995, near the town of Orokovis, a local resident discovered eight dead sheep in a cattle paddock. Each had three small bites in the chest area, and the absolute absence of traces of blood near the dead animals.

In the summer of 1995, statements of this kind fell in heaps. Moreover, messages came not only from the center of the island, but also from remote areas of the country. By the fall of 1995, the elusive creature strangled several hundred animals on the island: sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, dogs and pigs, all were bled.

Puerto Rican veterinarian Carlos Soto, when examining a rabbit with a very deep wound, noted: I don't even know what animal could do this.

Rare eyewitnesses describe the appearance of the "goat vampire" in approximately the following words: she has three toes, 5-centimeter claws, ears protruding strongly above her head. But the skin is described in different ways, some saw a bald creature with gray skin, others - a brown coat, and someone remembered the yellow color of the beast with fiery red evil eyes.

A police officer living in Canovanos personally met with a vampire - he attacked his dog, and the police officer immediately shot at the beast, though the brazen monster managed to escape. According to the officer, a disgusting stench emanated from Chupacabra, as if the beast lived in a sewer pipe.

Alien Bloodsucker Legends

Here again we have to recall the amazing UFO theme, because some Puerto Ricans see the intrigues of aliens in the appearance of Chupacabra. And for this they have a noble reason.

In the summer of 1995, half an hour before midnight, Enrique Gonzales and her six-year-old daughter went out into the yard. In less than a minute, the husband of the young woman who remained in the house was alarmed by the heart-rending cry of the mother and daughter.

Fearing for the safety of loved ones, the man rushed out of the house and saw a ball enveloped in light, rising to the sky. A red ray burst out of the UFO, touching the hand of a six-year-old girl, which she raised for protection. The hand at the point where the light beam hit was blistered and blushed.

A journalist from a local newspaper, having heard about the incident, immediately came to receive first-hand information, and witnessed a burn on his hand, although the redness of the skin had already passed. But interestingly, a broken chicken cage was found.

Nine dead chickens had punctures in the body and neck, there was no blood around the wounds. The man immediately suspected the incident of an alien vampire, who arrived on the ship he saw by the family.

In September of the same year, the programmer Juan Murati was approaching his car at about five in the evening, when he suddenly felt someone's gaze on him. Turning around, the man was amazed - fifteen meters away on the branches of a tree sat a disgusting half-meter creature.

The demon's large eyes - the size of a good orange - glowed with red malice.

Suddenly, the creature spread its leathery wings and, under their flapping, soared into the sky. The man shuddered and sighed with relief … A week later, the winged demon reappeared.

Juan kept five dogs, and on that ill-fated day, he found his largest dog in a corner of the yard. She was dead and there were two vampire bite marks on her neck. Murati and his neighbors are convinced that a winged monster sitting in a tree drank the dog's blood.

However, Chupacabra is terrorizing not only Puerto Rico. In the spring of 1996, the Washington Post published an article about Mexico City. In this city, judging by the report, as in Puerto Rico, goats, sheep and chickens mysteriously began to die. There was no blood in the bodies of the affected animals, and familiar punctures from bites were visible on the bodies and neck.

Having examined the bodies of the fallen cattle, veterinary specialists rejected the assumptions with the participation of predatory animals living in these parts. At the same time, there was no complete loss of blood - as it was stated later, most likely bats "worked" here. But according to the legends, as in previous cases, there is no one to bring charges - after all, the Chupacabra is a mystical beast.

Flying Flying Bloodsuckers

The photograph depicts a fruit bat, a terrible large beast up to half a meter in height and a wingspan of up to 1.7 meters (but there were individuals of 2.3 meters - a terrible monster-like creature, details of Wikipedia).

In general, fruit bats live in the tropical and subtropical zones of the Eastern Hemisphere, but this specimen was caught by the military in the Peruvian forests.

How a sufficiently large blood-sucking bloodsucker turned out to be in Peru remained a mystery, but as experts suggested, it was most likely brought in for sale, but later released. But no matter what happens there, this is not a fiction or a horror story - as many have suggested, the fruit bat in Peru is a fact.

It will be appropriate to remind here that you will not surprise anyone in Peru with an attack of flying bloodsuckers on a person. A sudden epidemic of rabies that happened a few years ago drove the vampires into a crazy state - despite all the measures taken, 20 people died from the bites of creatures in the country.

According to official statistics from 010, in a couple of Peruvian provinces alone, 3,500 people were bitten by flying bloodsuckers. It is not hard to imagine what several no longer small flying vampires, but fruit bats, can do. True, in this case, the charm of the mythology about the elusive beast Chupacabra is lost.
