In a country like India, there are several variants of the Flood myth. During excavations in the famous Shanidar cave, archaeologists discovered traces that clearly indicate large-scale floods. This discovery was the most important for ardent supporters of the reality of the World Biblical Flood.
The uniqueness of this cave lies in the fact that people used it as a dwelling for a very long time. The oldest layer is subsidized 65 thousand years before our era, and 11 thousand years have ceased to use it. The strangest thing was the following: some cultural layers had fine sand, shell rock and pebbles in their composition. And this is in a cave complex that has never been at the bottom of the sea. Four such layers were found. The most large-scale layer was just subsidized 11 thousand years BC. After that, it was not used by humans.
Moving to North America, you can see similar traces. At the depth of the cultural layer, which corresponds to 10-12 thousand years, a black layer is observed. After analysis, it was found that it was formed in a wetland, in other words, with a large amount of water. And the most curious thing is that this layer is located under the entire states.
In the Andean mountains in modern Peru, researchers have repeatedly found traces of marine sediments.
Lake Titicaca, which is located at an altitude of 4 km from sea level, is inhabited by marine life. According to one theory, this lake was previously part of the sea, but as a result of powerful tectonic processes it was raised to such a significant height.
But this idea is not able to withstand serious criticism. At first, as a result of such movements of the earth's crust, the inhabitants and the lake itself would hardly have survived. And the geological features of the surrounding area indicate that this event did not happen.

If the reservoir "rose", then the entire environment was formed from rocks of the sedimentary type, such as the Mediterranean. But no, granite, basalt and other magmatic minerals are visible in the water surface.
And the Altiplano plateau is formed by horizontal soft sedimentary rocks. With strong tectonic movements, such lines would be destroyed.

These words of legend are in excellent agreement with the geological data indicating strong activity in this time interval of all volcanoes.
Discovered a huge number of animal remains that drowned in the bitumen ponds of La Brea near Los Angeles. There were found: bison, camels, horses, sloths, mammoths and many saber-toothed tigers.
In the San Pedro Valley, skeletons of mastodons were excavated in a vertical position, completely covered with soot of volcanic origin.
It should also be emphasized that this time is precisely the end of the "Ice Age", and an extremely significant change in the temperature balance on Earth is associated with it.
But apart from the "one-time" extinction, scientists have established that more than 70 species of large mammals were lost on the territory of the New World during the Ice Age.
Dozens of species were also lost in Europe and Asia. Australia in the time interval from 11,000 to 9,000 BC. lost 19 species of animals. To visualize the scale, 20 species became extinct over the previous 300 thousand years.
