It seems that I am far from the only one who, with peripheral vision, caught mysterious silhouettes, instantly and without a trace disappearing if you try to focus on them. I have heard that parapsychologists call this shadow silhouettes, and people have known about their existence since ancient times. I call these silhouettes Shadow Men.
Skeptics will immediately object that my words are not true, and that what I am describing is just an optical illusion and a play of the imagination, but I am personally convinced of the opposite. And I have enough reasons to think so. I have my own view of who the shadow men are, but in this text I will not cite it, because I do not have complete confidence in the correctness. Perhaps this is just a delusion, I will leave my thoughts to myself.
For several nights in a row, shadow silhouettes appear to me. I sleep on the second "floor" of a bunk bed with a window directly opposite. Silhouettes appear from approximately 23:00 to 01:00. Sometimes, when they appear, strange sounds are heard, it is difficult to characterize, but more often, about two-thirds of cases, there are no sound precursors.
I'll tell you about the last two appearances.
Last night, to the right of the window, I noticed a tall silhouette, such one could well belong to a person 170 centimeters tall. Long, black, it hung over the windowsill. Casting a quick glance, I saw - he instantly disappeared. It happened so quickly, as if my gaze was a terrible threat to him! What is happening I would write off on impressionability, or optical illusions, but I have seen similar phenomena at home more than once. And this happened in all the rooms of the apartment.
Another time, the appearance of the little man was also quite interesting. On the sill of the same window where the tall silhouette appeared, I noticed another shadow man. It was low and barely reached the middle of the window. I was not afraid, and when I looked at him, he lingered, as if he was in confusion, and only then disappeared. After a while, I caught myself feeling that I was seeing the same, and possibly the same silhouette, but already hanging in the air outside the window. I forgot to mention that the house in which I live is tall and my window is 6 or 8 meters above the ground. It couldn't be a passer-by, it was a shadow man! I'm sure he didn't come back to me by accident, he obviously needed something.
