Today, among certain specialists and even among amateurs, conversations and many hours of disputes about Hyperborea are very popular. Someone argues about where it was located and who lived there. Others generally argue - was it, or was it just a newspaper duck, based on several dozen ancient manuscripts found in different parts of the world.

Of course, one should not be like such disputants. It is better to just try to organize the available sources and try to find a healthy grain in them.

First of all, it is worth establishing - what is Hyperborea? If you believe the great ancient historian Pliny the Elder, then this is an amazing land, distinguished by a fertile climate and amazing people. By the way, Pliny prefers to call this land Arctida. There is a unique social system in which everyone is satisfied with life. The oppressed simply did not exist here. There were not the slightest problems with obtaining food - this could be done just jokingly, because generous forests were green around, the rivers were teeming with water, and the surprisingly warm climate (near the Arctic !!!) allowed the inhabitants of Hyperborea not even to build houses, living in the forests and just enjoying your life. They did not know wars, living in peace and harmony. The day there lasts six months (polar day?). However, residents believe that this is exactly one day, not a year. And they live innumerable such days. It is impossible for mere mortals to reach these lands, but the Hyperboreans can easily travel both to the mainland and back, thanks to the amazing devices that allow them to fly. And it is impossible to doubt the existence of these lands and people.

Yes, that's exactly what Pliny the Elder thought. In addition, he argued that the greatest heroes of Hellas are in fact ordinary Hyperboreans. So, Apollo, Hercules, Perseus and many other heroes, demigods and gods turn out to be just people from the wonderful Hyperborea. By the way, many Greek chroniclers honestly admitted that it was the inhabitants of Hyperborea that brought culture, art, poetry, music and even the letter itself to the ancient Greeks.

Of course, a completely understandable question arises - how can you live so carefree, even without building houses, if this mysterious land is located not far from the Arctic? There are several versions here. First, it was a much milder climate at that time. It is no coincidence that merchants from Novgorod managed to travel all the way to Taimyr without any particular problems. Indeed, many chronicles, created before the fifteenth century, speak of such travels. However, today such a journey is doomed to failure - the ship (unless it is a powerful icebreaker) will either be covered with ice, or, if it is not made in the likeness of the Pomor ships, crushed by the most powerful ice floes.

It is also worth remembering the history of the exploration of Greenland by the Vikings. In 982, King Eric the Red discovered the continent of North America with his warriors. However, on the way, he came across a mysterious island with a wonderful climate. Wild grapes grew here, which surprised the seasoned warriors with their excellent taste. Later, the Vikings even settled on this beautiful island, the mild climate of which they liked much more than the harsh climate of their native places. And since the island was simply buried in greenery, it was called that - Green Land. Or Greenland … What can be said about modern Greenland? This is a real icy desert in which there is simply no place for grapes and even less picky plants. What was it? How did the fertile lands turn into a desert of ice and snow?

There can be several explanations here. First, the climate of our planet at that time could be much milder. Or at least the climate of the northern hemisphere. This is not at all excluded if the geographic pole is shifted. Secondly, the warm current of the Gulf Stream could be much more powerful, thanks to which it superbly heated not only Greenland, but also a large part of the Arctic, creating favorable conditions for the Hyperboreans. And thirdly, some researchers admit that the Hyperboreans had technologies that made it possible to significantly raise the temperature in the entire northern hemisphere. Yes, that doesn't sound very plausible. However, if we assume that the Hyperboreans have planes (and didn't Pliny the Elder write about them), then why not allow the existence of such technologies? Whatever it was,but if even just a thousand years ago Greenland was the Green Land, then what was it two, three or five thousand years ago, when the Hyperboreans lived in their lands?

What else is known about Hyperborea? Its exact location is unknown. But almost all researchers agree on one thing - it was located in the north of modern Russia … Perhaps it was Taimyr, Malaya Zemlya, Yamal, Spitsbergen or Franz Josef Land. Or maybe the island where the Hyperboreans lived happily ever after, today simply does not exist. Volcanic activity is surprisingly active in those places. Even today, tremors with an amplitude of up to 8 points are sometimes recorded on the island of Svalbard. What was there several thousand years ago? The answer is unknown. However, even the island of Hyperborea went under water, it did not happen too quickly. At least some of the Hyperboreans managed to survive and find a new homeland for themselves, even though it took a lot of time. However, more on that later.

So, we know what the ancient Greeks wrote about Hyperborea and its inhabitants. Well, what do the Russians, the people living in close proximity to this mysterious land, know? Alas, there are no chronicles of those times. Even if they were, the unfavorable climate and many wars reliably destroyed all sources. Therefore, we have to rely on what is much more difficult to destroy than parchments or pieces of birch bark - on legends and myths.

Personally, Lomonosov, who was still a young man, heard a mysterious story from an old Pomor Nikodim, which he later put into literary form and wrote it down.

A group of fishing pomors traveled across the Arctic Sea, leaving Novgorod. Having gone unusually far, they stumbled upon an unknown island. Of course, the curious people did not miss the opportunity to get to know the mysterious lands in more detail. Since the coast was very steep, they decided to come closer to collect at least some information. Alas, they could see very little. However, the information they have received is enough to give serious thought. As they approached, they heard the joyous and cheerful cries of young people coming from behind the rocks. They also noticed a mysterious light emanating from the island. Moreover, they argued that it was not at all like the sun. It is quite understandable that such an amazing discovery further piqued the interest of curious travelers.

The young guy was ordered to climb the boat's mast, and from it - to the top of the cliff in order to look over the ridge. He immediately obeyed, in a matter of seconds, being at the top of the mast. However, having thrown one single glance behind the rocks, the young man let out a joyful cry and simply jumped over the ridge. Not understanding anything, the Pomors decided to find out about the reasons for this behavior and sent the second man to the mast. He repeated the fate of the first. Still deciding to find out what their companions saw, the Pomors sent a third one, however, to avoid repetition, they tied his leg tightly with a rope. When he tried to escape behind the ridge, he was simply unceremoniously pulled down. Alas, he could not tell anything. On deck, he was already dead …

It is quite understandable that the similar behavior of two satellites and the mysterious death of the third frightened the Pomors. And they hastened to swim away from the terrible place.

What did the Pomors see that two did not hesitate to abandon their companions, and the third died from the inability to follow them ??? Alas, even the most sophisticated fantasy will not be able to plausibly answer this question. But perhaps the Pomors accidentally got a glimpse into the tiny surviving corner of the beautiful Hyperborea?

So what happened to the Hyperboreans after their country disappeared? By the way, this could have happened for various reasons: both a global cooling and powerful seismic activity that sunk their island. And then everything happened quite simply. Hyperboreans became Aryans. At least that is how they began to call themselves in all legends and manuscripts. However, they were called Hyperboreans exclusively by European historians and philosophers. Therefore, it is quite possible that from time immemorial the Hyperboreans called themselves Aryans. Here it is worth gleaning information from the "Book of Veles", which is not recognized by all supporters of official history (but isn't this a reason to start taking the book seriously?). It says that the Aryans left their lands due to a powerful cold snap - the Ice Age. And they left their acquired places far to the south. Where? This question is not difficult to answer. Where did the people of India, never known for their love of hiking and travel, learn that there are lands in the far north where a day lasts a hundred days, after which night falls for a hundred days? Where did Kolovrat, Inglia, Thunderbolts and other symbols, primarily inherent in the Aryan people, appear in the ancient temples of India?

Yes, contrary to the prevailing opinion in society, which attributes the swastika signs exclusively to Germany in the 30s and 40s, a huge number of such signs were the symbolism of the Aryans who brought them to India. If you read the writings of Roger Roots, you can find out that the Aryans brought high culture, art, literature and mathematics to India around 1800 BC. They brought the caste system there. However, at that time, it did not divide social groups of people, but peoples. The mixing of Aryans and Indians was strictly forbidden, since the aliens did not at all want to dissolve among the much more numerous local residents.

However, the Aryans did not want to remain living in India forever. Therefore, after climate softening, they migrated back to the north. And here the whole group was divided. Part of the Aryans went west to find suitable land for living, thus forming the Germanic peoples. Well, the rest returned to their original habitat becoming … Slavs.

Yes, today this version is considered completely unscientific. Alas, the only source confirming this theory is the "Book of Veles". But still, if you visit the museum and take a closer look at the patterns on towels, dresses, shirts and sashes, created at least at the beginning of the 20th century, you can see Kolovrats and other swastika signs well known to researchers of the Aryans. Alas, today such exhibits, which are in fact priceless, are often removed from museums and simply destroyed. It is believed that the swastika pattern, which came to us from the depths of millennia, is the propaganda of fascism. Well, this is really sad - after all, these people are destroying the remnants of a whole layer of our culture. We can only hope that over time they will come to their senses. And before that they will not have time to find and destroy all these exhibits.
