The settlement, founded around 1800 BC. e., had an oval shape at the base and consisted of three parts: the acropolis, the upper and lower city. The houses of the nobility were surrounded by a protective wall 1 km long, 3 m wide and 3 m high. According to archaeologists, several tones of stones were used for its construction. One could get into the city through the north and west gates. Most often, the most fortified western entrance facing the sea was used. Around 1200 BC the city was abandoned by its inhabitants for an unknown reason.
