Underground tunnels of mysterious origin have been found on all continents. According to the Polish researcher Jan Paenko, the tunnels pass even under the bottom of the seas and oceans. The overwhelming majority of these structures were built in very ancient times. Who created them and for what purpose? The answers to these questions have not yet been found.

One of the oldest tunnels, almost a million years old, was discovered in Ecuador by the Argentine ethnologist Juan Moritz in 1965. Mysterious tunnels stretch for hundreds of kilometers, and ventilation pipes with a diameter of about 0.7 meters were found in them. The walls of the tunnels are very smooth and feel polished to the touch. Who could have created such grandiose structures even in the early Paleolithic, when, according to scientists, ancient man only mastered fire and made primitive stone tools? This is the real secret that has yet to be revealed.

The latest tunnels, about 12 thousand years old, were discovered in Western Europe. They differ from the older ones in a rather rough construction, however, according to scientists, they could not have been built by primitive people. There is a hypothesis that along with primitive people with their stone tools, there was once a highly developed civilization on Earth, which for some reason perished. There is an assumption that some of its representatives could have gone into the depths of the planet, where an underground civilization was founded, which still exists today. According to another hypothesis, aliens from outer space may have been involved in the construction of the mysterious tunnels.
