Mexico, in turn, also never ceases to amaze with inexplicable phenomena. Not far from the city of Mexico City, there is an island called the Island of the Lost Dolls. According to an old legend, a baby drowned on that island, since then mystical phenomena have become a habitual action for those parts.
In 1950, the adventurous fellow Julian went to the island overnight. After he told how at night a baby came to him, apparently the one who drowned here, and tried to say something. In the morning, the Mexican found a doll on his doorstep with a torn off hand and a bottomless gaze into nowhere.
It is not known what drove the man's act, but Julian hung the doll on a tree, and then began collecting many other dolls from all over the area. Later, the “mystical field” swept over other Mexicans, they brought dolls to the strange hermit, which he safely hung in the trees. Soon, more than a thousand dead dolls were found on the island, from new and modern to torn and moldy.
The doll collector himself drowned on the island in two thousand and one. Now the Island of Lost Dolls has become something like a resort where people come to learn something new from the world of mysticism and join the horror stories of unknown phenomena.
Yes, that there is distant Mexico - Belarus also surprises us with buildings with a touch of mysticism, one of which is the Golshany Castle. According to the legend, the young man fell in love with Princess Golshanskaya, to which she reciprocated.
The lovers' meetings took place in secret, but the princess's father nevertheless learned about his daughter's "adventures" and ordered the young man to be immured in the castle walls.
The year was one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, generations lived in that castle, not afraid of old legends. "Why, it's just a fairy tale!" - exclaimed the young master. But as soon as the owner left the house, a pigsty was made from the castle.
When the builders were dismantling the bricks, among the rubble of the wall they found the remains of a young man who had been walled up here decades ago. Apparently this somehow freed the spirit of the young man captured within the walls.
The ghost of the young man was alarmed by such a daring intervention in his abode, and since then he wanders around the places of his palace in the form of a black shadow. The villagers called the ghost the Black Monk. Since then, only the ruins have remained from the Golshany castle, among which the ghost of the Black Monk wanders, whose terribly murdered soul left the world of the living, but apparently did not find a refuge in the other world.
Mystical phenomena - one can believe or not believe in it, even when faced with it. But recognizing their home planet, every nook and cranny, people make their every day and their whole lives unique. But how many more unexplored and abnormal places are around, where life flows according to its own, some irrational laws.
