Perhaps scientists have their own explanations, but the ancient legends and myths of Tajikistan, which real people encountered, still stir the imagination.

March 22 is the birthday of the Tajik science fiction writer Abdumalik Bahori, who wrote many interesting stories. We think that he drew many ideas for his narratives from the ancient legends of his native land. Indeed, each country has its own mysterious and mysterious places, which have not yet been solved by scientists. We also have them …

Invisible look

Most of the territory of Tajikistan is occupied by mountains and ridges. And not only people live here. In addition to the peaceful shepherds with their dogs and the sheep they look after, there are many creatures far older than humanity in the mountains. A lot of strange things happen in the mountains. Climbers have many unwritten rules so as not to offend the mountain spirits. And those who break the rules usually have a hard time in the mountains.

There are trauma, death, and fear. According to ancient legends, it is in the mountains that cruel and terrible demons - devas and beautiful peri - live high. But it is better for a person not to face them. There are also places in the Tajik mountains where dinosaur footprints are clearly visible. In one of the mountain villages, archaeologists have found a chain of dinosaur and human footprints that passed at about the same time.

According to blogger Hafiz Akhatov, his father, a geologist, said that there are places in the mountains where, even when you are completely alone, you feel someone's invisible presence. “Such wild places exist high in the mountains that a person's foot steps here every few decades. And this is felt in everything. In immense silence, for example. When you hear a drop of water falling tens of meters away from you. It is felt in the untouched nature. And in the rejection of human nature. Or not by nature. And those who live in those places for thousands, maybe millions of years,”he writes.

The mountain spirits are clearly unhappy with such human intervention. Therefore, climbers do not stay long in the highlands. In addition to the ancient spirits, over the past few decades, the army of golems, ghosts and spirits has been replenished by dead tourists and climbers. Few people can be pulled out, usually those who died in the mountains and are left there.

Promotional video:

“I myself, when I was in the weekly crossing of Siyoma-Labidzhai, across the glacier on the Pass of Four, not far from the Crown of Siyoma, often felt someone's gaze on me, clearly not a person or an animal. This was especially noticeable on the glacier. At an altitude of 4,200 meters.

Our tourist group of 13 people climbed the glacier, but instead of the usual 3 hours the climb took us almost the whole day. As if someone was rolling us down on purpose. But the most terrible things began to happen when we descended from the glacier. At night, someone crushed all the tents. We woke up in sleeping bags and a pile of rags instead of well-stretched tents. And one could blame everything on stray animals, but there were no animals, according to the attendants. There were no traces of animals, unless they were flying bears.

And each of us really wanted to meet the dawn as soon as possible in order to quickly get away from these terrible, frightening places where we were clearly not welcome. You could not attach importance to your own fears, write off everything to altitude sickness. However, all photographic and video equipment also failed. The truth later worked properly, already when we went down to the camp.

So we only have the footage to the glacier. High in the mountains there are neither animals nor trees. Grass grows occasionally. What pulls us people there? Maybe we shouldn't go where nature has provided everything for the existence of another form of life, but not a person,”the blogger notes.

Fear Gulch Ghosts

An anomalous zone on the southern spurs of the Gissar ridge in Tajikistan was discovered by accident. During their search for Bigfoot, the researchers encountered the entire spectrum of the unknown, including UFOs, teleportation and what, for lack of a better, they called "reality shift."

In September 1974, a team of climbers led by instructor Igor Tatzl stopped for the night in the valley of the Sioma River. In the morning they saw that in the snow near the tents there were huge traces of bare feet. The things from the backpacks were shaken out, some of the products disappeared. Someone tried to bite through the cans of stew: there were traces of large teeth on them. Although the roar was, apparently, rather big, no one woke up. Tatzl later found out that the local devilry can also "turn off" people who are awake.

Making sure that Bigfoot is not a myth, Igor decided to find him. Every summer he and his colleagues spent 2-3 months on expeditions in the Pamir-Alai. The climbers found out that the hairy creature is known to the Tajik highlanders under the name "odes yovoi" ("wild man").

Asking the shepherds about the "odes of yoy", Tatzl learned that he was most often seen near the Gorge of Fear, located upstream of the Syoma. None of the locals are poking around in the gorge - there is someone throwing stones, rays of light emanate from the rocks at night, fireballs appear, invisible "shaitans" speak and sing in different voices. The entire river valley enjoys a sinister reputation.

Psychiatrist's impressions

Convinced that something was really wrong in the mountains, Tatzl spoke about it in Moscow. A climber with 35 years of experience was immediately accused of drunkenness and drug use. In response, he appointed a psychiatrist-narcologist Oleg Rumyantsev as the doctor of the next expedition. The camp was located at the confluence of Shiyoma with Maly Igizak.

On the evening of August 9, 1981, Oleg and another participant in the expedition, Tatyana Neupokoeva, felt a vague alarm. In a small line, they saw a huge silhouette of Bigfoot. He held a luminous ball in his hand with "odes of yovoi". Its whitish rays made it possible to see the creature. Five minutes after the Bigfoot disappeared, a stone fell next to Tatyana. Raising their heads, they saw on the mountain a silhouette of "odes of yoy". The glowing ball was no longer in his hand. When people appeared on the path, the creature disappeared.

The stones, now and then falling dangerously close to eyewitnesses, were initially attributed to Bigfoot. If the stones are small - "he is joking so", large - "he is dissatisfied with something." But sometimes stones came from a place where there was nowhere to hide. Even if he knows how to become invisible by "ode yovoi", he cannot hide his scent or walk on soft soil without leaving footprints. And the accuracy of throwing is more like the tricks of a poltergeist.

The movement of objects and sleeping bags with people was also attributed to "odes of yoy". But this version faded into the background. A mysterious force moved things in closed tents and boxes, and stole objects from pockets. The members of the expedition soared into the air in a tent, not feeling invisible hands. Once a man was thrown to the other side of the Shiyoma. On another occasion, a climber found himself on top of a high cliff. He said that he did not remember the ascent at all.

Guided dreams

The members of the expedition told about mysterious dreams with a very clear picture. Many later assured that they did not sleep and saw a "movie" shown by someone. Identical dreams often appeared after glowing balls flew to the tent. During the expedition "Gissar-88" two balls approached the camp and flew into the tent where the women were sleeping. They glowed brightly from the inside, but did not light up.

When the "visit" was over, one of the climbers woke the women up and asked how they felt. Lydia Sretinskaya dreamed of a large tunnel in the mountain and a device with buttons that allows her to visit any place on Earth. She chose the button with the name of the village near Kalinin, where she spent her childhood.

“I also saw the tunnel and the buttons, but a little later, and mechanically poked the button that Lida pressed,” Tatyana Zubkova confirmed. - I found myself in a village on the banks of the Volga, next to Lida, we entered the house … Tatyana saw the things that were in the house, Lida's mother. Sretinskaya was amazed at the accuracy with which she described a stranger, a house and a village.

Strange balls allowed themselves to be photographed. But no one was able to film a "pink ghost" - a reddish glow that resembles a human figure. As soon as someone aimed a lens at him, a blue cone appeared and sat on the camera, illuminating the entire cassette.

Night visit

During expeditions over Syoma, UFOs were seen more than once. “On August 22, 1984, a glow with a pulsating stream of light was noticed,” read the entry in the expedition journal “Gissar-84”. - Through binoculars one can see an oblong disc with a thickening in the lower part, about 30 meters long and up to 10 meters high. He hung at a height of 1-1.5 meters from the surface of the earth for about half an hour.

To the side of the UFO, a tilted figure of a man in a shiny, tight-fitting jumpsuit was seen. A beam of light fell from above on his back and he straightened. Where the beam came from was not visible. He, swaying, turned around and began to move through the trail, and then, coming out of the beam, changed direction and went towards the river. The growth of the figure is 190-195 centimeters. In the morning, two traces of unusual feet resembling a lily were found on the strip. The dimensions of the tracks are 35 by 18 centimeters, the step length is 112 centimeters."

The trail strip was made in case of Bigfoot visits, but it also worked for the figure in the overalls. The members of the expedition took several pictures.

Another reality

Many scientists and climbers have experienced a "reality shift" in these mountains. Everything around him twitched like a picture on a faulty TV, sometimes color disappeared. They had the impression that the world around them was an illusion hiding something terrible.

For example, in August 1983, while on one of the expeditions, Alexander Dyachkovsky decided to look into the cave found the day before. Suddenly a strong whirlwind arose at the entrance, twisting small stones and tearing leaves from the bushes. At the same time, heavy, heavy steps were heard, going to the cave: one, two, three … Alexander prepared his camera. At that moment, the surrounding space shuddered and fell into place again. The failure of the "picture" occurred several times, then everything took on the usual shape.

The whirlwind died down. Dyachkovsky again heard footsteps, this time moving away from the entrance to the cave. He looked out of hiding, but did not see the Yeti (if it was, of course, he was). A little alive, the young man went down to the camp and lay in a tent all day …

In 1989-1992, during the collapse of the Union, scientific expeditions to the anomalous zone stopped. Scientists switched to the triangle anomaly in the Perm region. But on Shiyoma rushed mystics and adventure lovers, thirsty for spiritual enlightenment. One of these groups died, having climbed the mountains without warm clothing.

“Then a civil war began in Tajikistan. The stalkers preferred closer and quieter places. The anomalous zone was forgotten so firmly that it is hardly mentioned on the Internet,”writes the author of the material, Mikhail Gershtein.

Ball lightning is not uncommon …

The stories about ball lightning are also interesting. Residents of villages near the Vakhsh River, told a legend in which an ancient mound was involved, allegedly formed during the reign of Alexander the Great. According to the natives of these places, inside this mound, somewhere deep underground, there is a refuge for evil spirits and demons. From time to time they come to the surface, taking the form of huge dogs with eyes burning with red fire. Very often, their appearance is accompanied by a strong smell of sulfur and a black glow.

This clearly indicates that the locals are trying to explain the nature of such a mysterious phenomenon as ball lightning with the help of a legend. Scientists have long proven that the smell of sulfur emanates from an approaching electric ball, and the color of a plasmoid may turn out to be not only white, yellow and red, as many testimonies say.

Adventurers try to find a mystical explanation for this phenomenon. Some believe that ball lightning is directly related to UFOs, while others argue about the interaction of an electrical page with underground parallel worlds.

In the scientific world, scientists want to explain the reason for the appearance of ball lightning, but even with an explanation it is not clear why it behaves like an intelligent creature capable of observing people with curiosity? Regular lightning doesn't do the same. And then, if this is really a natural phenomenon, why is it able to move at different speeds, violating all kinds of laws of physics? She knows how to choose between simple observation and murder. Its given route is not capable of changing any obstacle. And in some people, according to eyewitnesses themselves, the electric ball is capable of causing hallucinations.

Hallucinations in Ramit Gorge

One of the former Dushanbe women, Zoya Kreisik, told a story on one of the forums that happened to her in 1986, when she was still living in Tajikistan. “One summer we, two married couples, decided to go on vacation to the Ramitskoye Gorge, which was located 45 km north-east of the capital. In that zone there were 3 rest houses and one sovminovsky pioneer camp. The road is excellent, we arrived quickly. We left the car with the huntsman and went on foot to the gorge,”the woman writes.

We set up tents near the rivulet, caught and boiled trout on the fire … When night fell, we scattered among the tents. The woman recalls that she quickly fell asleep, but somewhere deep in the night she woke up from some vague rumble and noise. I quietly crawled out of the tent and saw an unusual sight …

“A picture opened up in front of me: a battle of warriors, neighing horses, clatter of hooves, clash of weapons. The air was filled with dust, the sun was orange-red … I was afraid to move, or rather, I didn't even think about it, as I was fascinated by this picture,”writes Zoya.

Later, the woman decided to wake up her husband, and, having told about what she had seen, invited him to look.

“We opened the canopy again - the battle is still going on. The soldiers of Alexander the Great fought to the death with local defenders: some for victory, others for their land. But my husband does not see anything, says: "it seemed to you that there might be glitches in the mountains" … and went to bed. I looked for some time, it was impossible to tear my eyes away. After all, I only read in books about such or similar battles. And here I see it with my own eyes. The picture is indescribable: the horses were rearing up, blood was pouring, heads were flying … Horror! I quietly crawled back, lay down in my sleeping bag and kept thinking about what I saw. In the morning, my husband tells my night story, but my friends did not believe me, twirled around my head … We drove home in silence, because I had nothing to talk about with them, there was only a battle before my eyes,”the woman recalls.

Later, at home, she took out the books about Macedonian, which she had, found a description of when the great commander "went" to Samarkand (at that time - Marakanda - ed.). Found it! This was approximately 327 BC. He went through the Khobu-Rabat pass to the northwest. The woman told this story to many, but no one could answer why she saw this event as in reality, and her companions did not.

“This is not fiction. I will never forget these colors of the sky, neighing horses, groans of people and blood. Indeed, so many years have passed, but I remember everything,”the eyewitness ends her story. It is interesting that after the publication of her post, some members of the forum who happened to visit those places in Tajikistan as tourists described almost the same visions.

Snow people?

Another interesting story in the Ramit Gorge in 1993 was told on one of the sites by a former military pilot who was signed under a nickname.

“The height is 3000-3500 meters. We go to the base along the gorge, pressing against the left wall, it is very steep and densely covered with snow. The white wall, the pale blue sky, the right wall of the gorge is far away, the gaze slides first along the horizon, then falls on the instruments. Out of the corner of my eye, I notice something abnormal. Peering, I see clearly seven figures - some dark, fluffy ones. They are walking along the path along the flight path of our board at the same altitude with us. On the SPU (airplane intercom - ed.) I tell my navigator to look at it too.

In response: "Oh … Th, commander, but there is just a pedestrian avenue!" Just passing by the "tourists" by traverse, 70-100 meters to them, they walk calmly, with long legs, brown, fluffy. None of them looked at us, it even somehow became insulting. We turn the right bend, look, there is no one! We come closer to the wall, a chain of footprints is clearly visible, which simply breaks off in the snow and that's it. How so? Where? Hey! Nobody here. We made another call, looked again, alas. We wanted to give a test from GSh2-30, and then we thought, let them go. If only not the militants, and where should they walk on such walls? No, they were not people,”an eyewitness writes.

… Every myth contains lies and truths. People only decorate facts with their imaginations in order to have at least some opportunity to explain to themselves what is not yet available to them. Therefore, it would not be entirely correct not to take into account the legends and observations of ordinary people. After all, not everything that happens can be explained by science.
