On the morning of 09/21/93, having come to work, the head of the pharmacy of the military unit, warrant officer Lyudmila Nikolaevna Vedernikova, did not expect anything unusual from the next working day. But on this day, the pharmacy became a place of pilgrimage for military personnel of the unit. Everyone wanted to see with their own eyes the traces that someone had left on the floor of the pharmacy.
On this night, as on previous ones, the pharmacy was closed, sealed, and placed under the guard of the unit. Strong doors, glass-block windows, an alarm at the head of the guard, two internal locks, whole seals on the door - all indicated that no one had entered the pharmacy from the outside. But nevertheless, Lyudmila Nikolaevna found on the floor of the pharmacy, next to her desk, two strange footprints. At first glance, the tracks resembled human ones, but they were three-toed, with a fourth small protruding finger, which looked very much like a bird. But, firstly, there were no birds in the pharmacy, and, secondly, the size of these tracks could only fit an ostrich. One footprint was 19 cm long, the second 18.5 cm. The footprints started out of nowhere and led nowhere - then there was a wall. The walls and ceiling are painted with oil paint, the floor in the pharmacy is solid, also painted. That is, there is no place to get smeared with something leaving a mark in the pharmacy. Moreover, both the first and second tracks were under the table, the height of which was only somewhere less than 1.5 meters. Thus, the origin of these strange tracks is very mysterious.
Many visitors who came to look at the footprints put forward their own versions explaining their appearance. And all of them were in one way or another connected with the "white grandfather", who in the last two years became more active in part.
The medical center of the unit with the pharmacy is located close to the object, where at one time the "white grandfather" was often seen. There is also a "green house" nearby with a "pipe corridor", from where the "white grandfather" most often appeared and where something constantly happens, such as an unreasonable failure of electric flashlights and the same failure of dosimetry equipment.
In August 1993, Lieutenant Commander Mikhail Olegovich Kenkishvili sent one of the sailors to work in the pipe corridor, who had previously worked there several times. The sailor categorically refused, arguing that he was afraid and that there was some kind of "devilry". Then Kenkishvili went on his own. Going down into the corridor, he saw the "white grandfather" about five meters away. He stood facing the officer, and then turned and walked into the back of the corridor. The lighting there was dim as always, only a few bulbs were on for a hundred meters of the corridor. Kenkishvili followed the "grandfather", but the short figure disappeared in the back of the corridor. In the end, the lieutenant-captain reached the wall with which the corridor ends - the "white grandfather" disappeared without a trace.
A serious and reserved man, Kenkishvili did not tell anyone about this incident for a long time, and only recently, having read an article in the newspaper "The Fourth Dimension and UFOs" about the "white grandfather" with the addition of the word "ghost", he could not restrain himself and told about his meeting with him. He said that it was not a ghost at all, but a real being, quite material in appearance. And he also heard his steps well. The rest of the description is the same - gray, nondescript, short, and he did not cause any fear in Kenkishvili.
Apparently, somewhere here, that mysterious "door" of the anomalous zone MM (Cape Maydel) opens - that transition to another world, from where its inhabitants periodically appear. After studying the traces left by someone in the pharmacy, one involuntarily recalls the character of Russian fairy tales - a kikimora, a friend of a brownie, a small woman with bird's legs. One of the representatives of the diverse world of Gentry. But be that as it may, and the traces are real. They were photographed, filmed on a special film, on which forensic scientists take fingerprints (begged from the local police department). This film was then transferred to the Vladivostok Waufon Center for further research. The research results were not reported to us. We got the information that A. Rempel (who at that time was the chairman of VAUFON) "gave" this tape to representatives of the Paramoun Pictures studio,who came to the Far East to shoot a story about Vladivostok ufologists.
In our own place, we carried out only a microscopic examination of scrapings from a trace. These were crystals, slightly pinkish, transparent at high magnification. It would be nice, of course, to carry out a spectrographic study, but we have not found a laboratory that could do such a job.
