There are many interesting places on the territory of our planet, surrounded by secrets and legends. One of them is the famous Devil's Hole located in the United States of America.
It is located in the state of Nevada, on the ground of the Death Valley National Park. The Devil's Hole is a hole in the ground. Scientists have never been able to establish what the depth is.
This abyss is filled with water, and in order to get to the water, you need to go underground to a depth of a little less than a hundred meters. And the dip itself is not very large - about 5x1 meters. Many attempts have been made to measure depth, but they all ended in failure.
Local residents are afraid of this place. And since Indians live here, it has long been overgrown with myths and legends. According to one of them, an evil deity lives in this hole, capable of taking the life of any person who disturbs him. And at night it comes out of the hole and wanders around.
Several Indian tribes live on this territory, and one of them is the Payuto tribe. According to their beliefs, in no case should you sleep near the Devil's Hole - you will fall asleep and will not wake up.
Local sorcerers believe that the evil deity living in the hole senses that people are approaching the failure, after which it can emerge from its lair. But if he is not disturbed, then no danger will arise.

Naturally, official science put a bolt on such recommendations from the local population and tried to measure the depth of the failure. But interestingly, many strange things happened in the process of research, ranging from poor health of people and ending with an incomprehensible sense of fear and alertness in those who dared to descend into this hole with the help of mountaineering equipment.
However, later it was found that it was not an evil spirit that was to blame for feeling unwell - a lot of methane was released from this hole.
However, here too there is a mysticism - no one understands where it comes from, and among the emissions no system and regularities have been established at all - they do not happen constantly and the next emission cannot be predicted.
What's even stranger is that the researchers found that the water level in the hole is constantly changing, and the jumps can be very serious. The water temperature was also struck - about 33 degrees Celsius.
All that science has managed to learn is that at a depth of 80 meters, the hole expands greatly, and after another hundred meters, the expansion occurs even more. As a result, the automatic robot managed to sink into the water to a depth of 230 meters, after which communication with it was lost.
And nobody understands why. Some researchers consider Devil's Hole to be an anomalous zone. There are also many "eyewitnesses" who observed here unidentified flying objects.
