Long-term studies of the American oncologist Jeffrey Long and the study of the states of "clinical death", which he called "near-death experiences" (PSP), led him to an invariable conclusion in the existence of life after death, that is, the existence of our consciousness after the death of the physical body He himself, in his book "Proof of Life After Death", written on the basis of an analysis of numerous cases of PSP, writes the following:
“By examining thousands of detailed accounts of PSP, I found data that led me to a startling conclusion: PSP provides such compelling scientific evidence that it would be prudent to acknowledge the existence of life after death. Yes, you got it right. I have studied thousands of out-of-body impressions. I have carefully considered what evidence of life after death is provided by the PSP. And without a shadow of a doubt I declare that there is life after physical death.
My research convinces me that out-of-body experiences are about leaving this life and entering another life. As one of those who had PSP announced: “I saw something crystal of such bright colors. That even now I am overwhelmed with an all-consuming feeling of confidence that there is life after death and it is good. This saves me from the fear of death! …
In the FIPSP survey, we examined the content of more than 1,300 PSPs. Previous scientific studies of PSP have examined at most a few hundred cases. We have analyzed the twelve elements of out-of-body experience very carefully. After carefully reviewing the stories of people who had PSP, we found some answers to the fundamental questions of humanity about posthumous existence.
Since I work as a radiation oncologist, my life is closely connected with science. It couldn't be otherwise. I give targeted doses of radiation to destroy cancerous tumors. In the course of his research, Jeffrey Long was able to identify nine lines of evidence that, in his opinion, support the existence of life after death.
