Usually jokes pass through my head without stopping, and I am a little jealous of the craftsmen who entertain an admiring audience with them for hours. But there is one that I will surely remember until the end of my days, and maybe longer.

Restrain your surprise at the seemingly wild end of this phrase. It won't take long for an explanation.

And here is the anecdote itself. Two twins are talking in the womb. One asks the other: "Do you think there is life after childbirth?" And the second answers: “It's hard to say. After all, nobody came back.”

What a stunning image of thousands of years of human attempts to discern what awaits us after death! Everyone for whom birth is behind, and death is ahead, is washed, we firmly know that there is life after childbirth! And for them, who were not born, how to know?

I affirm: the curtain has collapsed! The fact of being after death has been proven strictly scientifically.

Here I foresee the indignation of representatives of all religious denominations and esoteric teachings: why do we need scientific evidence, we already believe that the so-called death is just a transition of a person to another state? Yes, you believe, but many millions of people continue to believe that only absolute non-existence awaits all the dead. For them, the knowledge that this is not so is their daily bread. And with representatives of religious confessions, the situation is not as simple as it might seem at first glance. Mikhail Dymov's book "Children write to God" contains the wisest question of a child, addressed to the Almighty: "How many believers are among believers?" People want to believe, sometimes they consider themselves to be believers, but in the depths of their souls many of them have a skeptic who is not so easy to drive out (I'm not talking about those who just pretend). Believers truly, unconditionally, which really don't need any scientific evidence, I guess not that much. And everyone else will find them very useful.

There is plenty of indirect evidence for life after death. They are provided by an ocean of esoteric and theological literature, the books of Raymond Moody, of which the most famous is Life After Life, a huge factual history related to the concept of reincarnation, no less extensive information about mediumistic contacts with the souls of the dead and much, much more. But my task does not include even the most cursory review of this grandiose topic. It is important that in an endless dispute with critics of the materialistic persuasion, until recently, it was not possible to defeat opponents on their territory. And what is their territory? Submit here facts that completely exclude any other interpretation other than being after death. Accusations of voluntary or involuntary falsification of data, ingenious constructions about "games of the subconscious" among mediums are used,at worst - about connecting consciousness to the cells of the World Data Bank (in the case of incarnational memories). This, in essence, is no longer quite materialism, but still such a position allows us to deny posthumous existence. In a word, any single fact could be thrown away with varying degrees of persuasiveness. And if any separately, then there are as many of them, such facts. And now it seems to be a draw: you cannot prove yours, and we, according to our rules, cannot accept yours.you cannot prove yours, and we, according to our rules, cannot accept yours.you cannot prove yours, and we, according to our rules, cannot accept yours.

This was, I repeat, until recently.

Now read about what happened relatively recently.

In 1971, Robert Monroe published Travels Out of the Body. It immediately became a world bestseller and was published even in our country. In this book, Monroe talked about the so-called astral travel, when a certain entity is separated from the physical body and meets with the inhabitants of the "subtle world". At first, Monroe's travels were spontaneous, then he learned to leave his body at will. In total, he made several hundred such trips and told about them in an exciting interesting way. However, for esotericists, this first book did not contain any fundamental novelty: the very fact of astral travel had been known to them for a long time.

After that, Monroe fell silent for two whole decades, and then, one after another, he released two more books: "Distant Travels" and "The Ultimate Journey."

The fact is that Monroe was not satisfied with his own astral travels. They just bored him. And there was nowhere to get away from the question: "Maybe all this only seems to you?" Hallucinations, games of the subconscious and so on - the usual argumentation of critics of the materialistic sense was used.

Monroe was a very rich man, a musician, the author of hits that sang all over America, the owner of many radio stations, which brought in considerable income. This allowed him to found the Monroe Institute, which has been developing a unique methodology for expanding consciousness for two decades. It was based on the synchronous action of various sounds (musical compositions) on the two hemispheres of the brain. I omit all the details. The attainment of ever higher levels of altered consciousness was put on the conveyor belt. By the time the third book ("The Ultimate Journey") was written, three thousand people (volunteers, of course) had already acquired the ability, like Monroe himself, to make astral travel at will. This was already a tremendous qualitative leap in comparison with everything that was known before.

And now I come to the most important thing. But first, I will quote a brief annotation on the cover of Monroe's latest book:

The Ultimate Journey describes the area that is “beyond,” beyond the material world. It is a map of the "highway between the worlds" - the road that opens before a person when he passes away; this path has its own road signs and dangers. The book tells how Robert Monroe went through it during his lifetime, which made it possible to discover the reasons and purpose of this unparalleled expedition. He offers us fundamental truths about the meaning and purpose of life itself and what awaits a person after it."

And here is a quote from Monroe himself: “I understood where I came from, how I got here, why and how I became a man. I know what my final departure will be like and where I am after that for a long time. Sooner or later, the subtle mentors took them to the Waiting Park, where they adapted to new conditions of being, much like those on earth. There they could choose one of four ways of further development. But the story about this is beyond my topic. Here you have to read Monroe himself.

Travelers took on the role of mentors and literally "by the hand" took restless souls to the waiting park. And along the way, many souls talked about themselves. Not all - there were also silent ones. But the talkative ones called their name, place and date of birth and death, as well as other details of their earthly life. When the travelers returned back to their normal state, they reflected in their reports the information they had gathered - from the souls of people who had died in various parts of the world. It turned out to be possible to compare them with real documents. And the information collected in such an unusual way was invariably confirmed. The Monroe Institute has accumulated several thousand such confirmations - so many that their further collection has lost all meaning.

Well, what do you say to this, gentlemen, materialists?

I think you got a crushing knockout by playing by your own rules. The fact of being after death (while preserving the personality) has been proven with complete, immutable evidence.

Another question is how events develop further for those who left our physical world. Here again we must read Monroe himself. But death as non-being will not be in the future either. I believe this is good news. The nicest of all that you can imagine.

Monroe died in 1995. By the way, he himself avoided using words such as "die" and "death". Always spoke only of the transition.

The current director of the Monroe Institute is his daughter Lowry.

However, she writes that in fact all the affairs of the institute are directed by her father, who maintains constant contact with her.

The Monroe Institute is actively continuing the research begun by its founder. He does not pursue the goal of enrichment. For a ridiculous price, you can buy educational programs - 42 tracks (lessons), the successive passage of which will allow you to become a traveler in the sense that Monroe has in mind. And here's what is especially important: when programs are copied to other disks, their efficiency does not decrease. Monroe training is quite accessible to everyone who actively strives to expand their consciousness.

How do you call it? I consider it a New Era in the development of mankind. Without any exaggeration! I dare to believe that what Monroe has done is incommensurable in importance with the achievements of our technogenic civilization and, in particular, with the so-called spacewalk (satellites, manned ships, probes, etc.). All these are mere toys in comparison with the possibilities of learning the secrets of the universe and worthy inclusion of the species of Homo Sapiens into it, which are opened by Monroe's mission.

I believe that Monroe's books should be read by all the inhabitants of the planet.

It is appropriate here to recall one of the prophecies of Edward Cayce, made by him somewhere in the middle of the last century. He argued that in the 21st century "people will finally find their way to parallel worlds and will travel there whenever they please." The 21st century has just begun, and this prophecy is already coming true.

And last but not least. By calling my article “You will not die,” I certainly did not mean physical immortality. At its appointed hour, your thinking and feeling substance will leave the body. But being, which is synonymous with "life", will not end there. There will be no end to death. In this sense, I consider my name to be absolutely accurate.
