In my experience with people who commit suicide, I have found that they often regret what they did after death. They immediately realize that they made a mistake and are now in a state of learning. Most importantly, they are in the world, but they regret the pain that their death has caused to those left in life. I have personal experience of contact with those who have experienced death from despair. As a medium, I also had the opportunity to speak with the spirits of people who died in this way. There are several possible paths for a Spirit who died by suicide:
- They cannot make the transition right away. A person who has committed suicide may not go over right away due to feelings of immediate regret and a desire to return. Many people who have committed suicide in a very egregious way often want to first apologize to their loved ones and take it off their chest before leaving the earth plane completely. Once they say what they need to say and / or realize that they cannot return to the body / exist in the same way as they were before, the person who committed suicide is ready to go.
- They can go to a resting place. I have been shown that the resting place resembles a garden, a womb, or an empty place where this person is all alone. This is not a punishment - it is a place where people go to reflect on their experiences, come to terms with their actions, and release any heavy emotions they carry (perhaps the same ones that lead to their death in the first place) before completely crossing over. … They can stay here for any period from a second to a year - it all depends on their life path.
- They immediately transition and become spirit guides. I have seen people immediately move into the Afterlife and become Spiritual Guides for people who think about the same. Kind of like angels. They advise, help cheer up, observe, and do their best to guide people like them in a new direction in life. In essence, they continue to prevent future suicides.
