Researchers of anomalous phenomena use the term "English circles" to describe the strange, out of nowhere appearing among agricultural land, the crumbling of cereals, which, when viewed from a height, look like real drawings or even drawings in the fields: circles, spirals, triangles … in England, which is why the name of the mysterious images arose. Ufologists consider them to be signs that extraterrestrial intelligence sends to our planet, sending us some encrypted messages with the help of "English circles".
Aliens with hooves?
Soon after the discovery of these strange symbols in the grain fields of Foggy Albion, it became clear that not only England was honored to receive "letters" from aliens from other worlds. Mysterious drawings are found in Russia, in particular, on the banks of the Volga. Here is what Vladimir Kondakov, a resident of Togliatti, told experts from the non-governmental group Avesta: - Last July, I went fishing with two friends on the Usu River. We got out of the city even after dark. When we arrived at the village of Perevoloki, it was already dawn. The plants changed color from green to dark burgundy, and were rolled up as if someone was trying to squeeze juice out of them.

Sensational was the assumption of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Head of the Department of Theory of Engines of the Samara State Aerospace University, Professor Yuri Alekseevich Knysh. Yuri Alekseevich told the author of this publication about his - strictly scientific - hypothesis of the origin of "English circles".
- In 1972, I, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor of the Kuibyshev Aviation Institute, began to study the processes of sound formation in vortex flows of liquids and gases.
I then conducted a series of experiments that are directly related to the topic of our conversation today. The experiment was called acoustic field visualization. To put it simply, I have developed a setup thanks to which the sound, as well as the traces of its impact on the environment, can be seen with the naked eye.
The experiments were carried out mainly with high-intensity sound fields, such as are generated by the operation of aircraft engines. These fields, of course, exert very strong pressure on the surface, because it is not without reason that a person can feel a strong sound, as they say, with all his skin. The effect of the sound field is most pronounced on viscous media - on water or on mineral oil covered with aluminum dust. Looking ahead, I will say that the surface of a grain field in many of its properties, and in particular, in its pliability, has approximately the same characteristics as an oily surface.
Whirlwinds hostile
- So, - continues Yuri Alekseevich, - with a certain strength and direction of sound, we got images in oil that almost completely repeat the drawings of the famous "English circles". Moreover, if the sound field in our setup had a complex structure, then the pattern formed by it also became more complicated.
The question immediately arises: where in nature, in the sky above the grain field, can a source of such a powerful sound come from? It turns out that these are atmospheric vortices of varying intensity, which in meteorological science are called cyclones, and among different peoples of the world they are called tornadoes, tornadoes, typhoons, hurricanes, and so on.
It is these vortices that generate a powerful sound field in the atmosphere. If the frequency of sound vibrations is high, a person will hear the noise of a hurricane, but if the vibrations are in the low-frequency (so-called infrasonic) range, then this sound will pass "past him." Nevertheless, studies show that a strong infrasonic field also affects any counter surface, including the surface of a grain field, creating "English circles" on it.
What physics says
But not only "English circles" in the grain fields are the "handiwork" of infrasound. Since the hydrosphere, lithosphere and biosphere of the Earth are literally saturated with low-frequency sound vibrations, they, with different strengths and with different effects, affect living organisms, including humans.
