York Darina was the first to know about it
Together with the Yorkshire terrier Darina, her owner, Valentina Pavlova, became a witness of the anomalous natural phenomenon. "Witch's circles" formed right under the windows of her house at 20a Daurskaya.
- Late Tuesday evening I watched TV, - says Valentina Antonovna. - And suddenly my dog Darina barked loudly near the balcony door. I thought she was asking for a pot on the balcony and opened the door. But my Darinochka did not stop talking - she barked continuously. Do not thieves want to get into our apartment ?! I looked out the window - no one was there. Then I opened the window and looked around the yard, but there was no one there either. And then I noticed that from a birch tree growing on the playground in the yard, many, many snow circles diverge. The circles are so even, as if outlined by a compass. Our lanterns shine very brightly, and it was clear that the whole courtyard was in "witch circles".
In the morning Valentina Antonovna looked out into the yard again - the snow circles had not disappeared. And she called VK: come, they say, see what is going on in nature. Yesterday we visited Daurskaya. And indeed, around the birch tree there are many snow circles of different diameters, located at the same distance - about 15 centimeters. Has the flying saucer left its mark? Seeing this, and believe in a UFO. Valentina Pavlova, by the way, a historian by education, also never believed in anything, and now, she says, you will believe in everything - both in aliens and in flying saucers.
By the way, before our arrival, the rest of the residents of this house did not notice these circles. Life is vain, in the morning you rush to work, in the evening you run home, the house is also full of things. “Maybe it was the boys who drew circles with a scooter,” suggested a young man living on the first floor. But his pensioner neighbor denied this version. “My windows overlook the courtyard, and I haven't seen the kids on the playground in recent days,” he assured us. "They must have been drawn by aliens." True, some tenants had other versions. Someone said that it was the wind that scattered the snow so evenly, someone decided that on the playground, before the snow fell, some technique had passed and loosened the ground in circles.
For advice I had to turn to the head of the regional group "Kazan-Cosmopoisk" Maria Petrova, who studies anomalous natural phenomena. Having visited Daurskaya, she said that it was definitely a sensation. Circles in the snow are a unique phenomenon and are much less common in nature than circles in the field.
- The last such anomalous phenomenon in Kazan was in December 1990. Then a flat snow circle with a diameter of nine meters formed in the park near the 9th city hospital, - said the ufologist. - The hospital staff even noticed some kind of glow. But the reason for the phenomenon in the park was never determined by the experts.
According to Maria Petrova, animals behave restlessly during anomalous phenomena. So it is not surprising that Darina barked loudly and for a long time. Now specialists of the regional group "Kazan-Cosmopoisk" will study the "witch circles" on Daurskaya.
