One of the questions that has been haunted for many millennia. The whole life of a person and the fate of not only this incarnation depends on the answer to it and understanding of one's own nature.

Who are we? The anthropoid animals that are the most intelligent of all other species, or something else? To put it clearly, both.

There are people who lead the life of animals. There are real heroes and ascetics who have abandoned their own interests for the good of others. There is an abyss between them. This abyss is not bottomless, it can be bridged, but it is huge in terms of distance. Both are people, but only at first glance. Mentally and spiritually, they are almost different species.

How human nature was understood in archaic doctrines

First, everyone recognized its complex composition. In a person, several principles can be distinguished from which he consists.

What does "consist" mean?

The majority are aware that each principle cannot occupy the same point in space-time. But, on the other hand, a person is not a matryoshka, where each next figure repeats the previous one, albeit on a smaller scale.

The spirit participates in the spiritual world and cannot incarnate anywhere, if we talk about the literal sense of the word “incarnation”. He dwells in his own world and only interacts with the soul and body. This interaction is similar for everyone and, nevertheless, everyone has their own. As there are no identical stars in the Universe, there are also no two identical people. Many agree with this, but few are guided.

Man as an illusion

So, spirit to spirit, and ashes to ashes. The spiritual “I” generates its own reflection, which can be called the soul.

  • there is a spirit soul, which is called the Sanskrit term "buddhi";
  • there is an earthly soul, which is the lower manas about which I wrote in the previous article.

Both buddhi and kama-manas do not incarnate anywhere, literally, for a fish does not live under the ground, but a mole under water.

The body and its etheric double remain, which performs the function of an intermediary between the soul and the body, just as the soul mediates between the spirit and the lower manas.

So what is a man?

From this point of view, a person is simply an illusion, a combination of several natures in a single interaction. There is nothing in a person that can be called a person. Man is only an imposition in a conditional combination of various universal principles that make up the human structure.

Man as a reflection

The physical body contains bones, muscles, and blood, but literally it does not contain any spirit or soul. On the other hand, without their influence, namely influence, he would be just a mad animal.

The soul is not directly connected to the spirit, although the connection is more obvious, for example, like the Sun and its reflections in water. The reflection and the sun are not one, but without the sun there would be no reflection.

Consequently, a person, to put it quite simply, is a multitude of reflections from various principles falling on the same point in the physical world. They can act in it only through the body.

We are a perfect illusion when viewed from top to bottom. But we are also something real when it comes to interaction. One way or another, but everyone should choose their status and lifestyle. You just don't need to talk about incarnation and think about moving. There are no movements, but there is a change of states, and this is not at all the same thing.
