In the glorious city of St. Petersburg there is a whole organization dealing with the problem of drums, a mass of testimonies and eyewitness accounts have accumulated. Here are a few of these stories.

Personally, I do not believe in ghosts and rams. True, a couple of days ago something strange happened. At night, a medium-strength explosion was heard in the kitchen. It turned out that this noise was caused by an unopened bottle of Baltika. The beer, of course, spilled on the floor, the bottle was lying by the refrigerator, split into two equal halves and with a neatly cut neck.

Our seven-year-old cat, by the way, black and very mysterious, came to the scene - once the chair in which he slept "by itself" moved to the opposite wall. This time he shook off his paw in disgust, lazily gnawed his food and walked away, brushing aside all suspicions.

But beer bottles, unlike cans with cucumbers or fermented wine, do not explode! In general, there was no explanation.

The poltergeist research group has existed in St. Petersburg since 1989, and is headed by Boris Mikhailovich Marchenko, Ph. D., a full member of two international academies. During this time, he received hundreds of calls from people who complained about anomalous phenomena, while among them were employees of the city's largest museums, who assured that ghosts roam the palaces at night. In most cases, it turned out that the applicants were mentally ill and were simply delusional, but there are plenty of proofs of the existence of the beasts.

One of the first calls was from Tosno, from Lyudmila Antipicheva. All of a sudden, dishes began flying around her room for no reason. The brigade immediately goes to the communal apartment, from which all the neighbors have already managed to escape. In the hands of the "ghost hunters" are special devices invented by Marchenko and a dowsing frame. To begin with, they enter the kitchen, and literally before their very eyes, plates jump out of the dryer one after the other!

As a result, contact was established with Yasha - that was the name of the brownie. The guy turned out to be quite kind and conscientious. Having broken the mistress's alarm clock, he began to hum regularly over his ear at 7 am, and also helped to make calculations for the diploma project! This is not surprising: in Marchenko's opinion, all the drums are well educated, they know telepathy, all existing languages, they know a lot about technology and instantly solve complex problems. One of his most beloved brownies, Vasya, helped the master's son do his homework and even went to school with him. He drew on sheets of paper - for example, Vasya portrayed the model of the Universe in the form of an all-seeing giant eye, enclosed in a ball with rays emanating from it. He also spoke in a squeaky voice and even played a children's tambourine to the songs "Lube". Familiar family members of the Maximovs often saw this tambourine hitting the floor in time to the music. But Vasya was not seen, although some of the little bums are not hiding.

Tosnensky Yasha appeared as a small ball the size of a large cherry. And when a photographer from the poltergeist group "clicked" an empty room and developed a picture, it turned out to be a meter-long black ball. Columns of light appear in other photographs, and sometimes hosts and guests see hairy or bare clawed paws. Boris Mikhailovich is sure that these spirits are completely material, they only consist of some special matter, for example, microleptons.

But the miracles created by the invisible, and even more so the destruction caused by them, are quite concrete. Of the experiments, which were done at the request of Marchenko, there were such. A cheerful "kid" from Bolshoy Sampsonievsky Prospect threw a jar of jam through the window, and the glass remained intact, and the jar did not break on the asphalt. The same guy managed to push a kilogram weight into a vessel with a narrow neck, and he stuffed a plastic bottle of Pepsi-Cola with an alarm clock, a toy and a lot of other things. When it comes to their own initiative, then the possibilities of the little ones compete with their imagination, most often mischievous or rather evil.

The list of outrages recorded in the journal, where the poltergeist commission keeps records of all calls, is striking:

Chudnovsky Street, 8 - the spirit mocked the parrot, poured water on it.

Tankista Khrustitskogo Street, 25 - the drum broke windows, a chandelier, dishes and a telephone.

And so on. It can be seen that the characters of the rams are different. If Vasya and Yasha are ready to cooperate, then others spare no effort to invent vile jokes. One such "funny guy" spat on, and then smeared with ink the whole family, shaved and painted a shepherd dog with makeup, and threw a cat wrapped in a blanket all over the room.

But perhaps the most vicious poltergeist lives at 92 Veterans Avenue, and he destroyed everything: furniture, dishes, clothes, documents. It remains, perhaps, only to smash the walls. When the reel is in a rage, closets and beds move even among neighbors on the porch! He throws heavy objects at people, and more than once the beaten owners walk around the apartment in helmets or with colander on their heads. In addition, this type writes notes, such as: "Fry a cutlet", "Tvorogkupi", "Borka, put a hundred grams, otherwise …" They tried to appease the spirit by fulfilling all wishes, but he never relented.

This family has nowhere to run. And the little girl? It happens that after bioenergetics manage to make contact with the spirits, find out who he was in a past life, order a memorial service or invite priests, he will leave. The angry man from Veteranov Avenue managed to pull him into a conversation, and he admitted that he had once killed the old woman, took all her savings from her and lived on them happily ever after, never regretting what he had done (just some kind of Dostoevism!). Repentance came after death, and now the spirit is tossing and rushing about and cannot accumulate energy in order to finally get off the ground. And he takes energy from people, which is why he brings them to white heat.

In general, neither the owners, nor even the "ghost hunters" have yet managed to come to an agreement with this schismatic, although usually their help is quite effective. Still, people have been exorcising spirits for the 13th year. They have experience, what they call facts, and a lot of material evidence, including drawings and notes. True, serious scientists are skeptical about hypotheses about ghosts, considering the ream "a manifestation of a subconscious mental or nervous disorder."

The more curious is the city court ruling recognizing the existence of a poltergeist. One day, a group of citizens sued the owner of the apartment, who, they believed, flooded the lower floors with water. But the woman managed to prove her innocence. Everything was in order with her, and streams flowed from the neighbors' ceiling right in front of the amazed policemen and attesting witnesses. As a result, the lady did not have to pay for the damage caused - the incident was attributed to evil spirits.
