Bigfoot has long ceased to be something unusual - today almost everyone knows about him. Stories about this creature have long passed into the category of entertainment. But, despite this, meetings with an incomprehensible creature still occur, striking terror into eyewitnesses and baffling researchers.

It is believed that the Russian zoologist Vitaly Khakhlov laid the foundation for the study of Bigfoot. The world community got acquainted with Bigfoot in the 50s of the last century, when photographs of climbers conquering the peaks of the Himalayas were published. It is worth noting that so far not a single expedition has managed to find Bigfoot's lair, as well as to catch him. Several times enthusiasts found bones,supposedly belonging to a relict hominoid, but as a result of the analysis it turned out that they belong to a bear. This fact does not mean that Bigfoot does not exist, however, no one has yet found his remains.

As to who this humanoid creature is, the opinions of researchers differ. Domestic professor Boris Porshnev put forward a version according to which these elusive giants are descendants of the Neanderthals who managed to survive and adapt to such conditions. It is known that Neanderthals and the ancestors of modern humans are two different species, and it was previously believed that the first became extinct in antiquity. However, according to Porshnev, it was the Neanderthals who could have been the ancestors of Bigfoot. Over the centuries, they gradually adapted to life in hard-to-reach places without fire. Their appearance has changed accordingly. In addition to Neanderthals, some scientists consider the ancestors of Bigfoot and Gigantopithecus - ancient primates, from which orangutans also descended.

There are more fantastic versions of the origin of this creature. According to one of them, the yeti may be the result of genetic experiments by aliens who visited Earth in the distant past. But there is one more hypothesis, no less interesting. She says that the Yeti are inhabitants of other worlds who come to ours through portals. This may explain the fact that no remains of Bigfoot and other oddities have yet been found.
Yeti Unusual Abilities
According to eyewitnesses who met Bigfoot, it was found that he also possesses some supernatural powers. In particular, more than once, pursued by people, the yeti simply went behind a tree and disappeared. He is also credited with the ability to suggest and suggestion. All these facts may indicate that Bigfoot may not be a descendant of the Neanderthals who managed to survive to this day. However, the great difficulty is that until now neither the remains of the creature nor living specimens have been found, therefore it is impossible to carry out a genetic analysis and establish the degree of its relationship with humans. Perhaps the Yeti is just a transitional link from a person to some of the primates, or maybe it is a race of intelligent beings that develops separately from humans.
