The pyramids, which are not only in Egypt, are officially classified as cult: tombs, tombs of persons who held a high position in the hierarchy of those eras. Let's not touch on the topic of stone pyramids, but look at the ground ones. Their volume is much larger than the pyramids in Giza and the complexity of construction is comparable.
From the point of view of common sense and a practical approach, it makes no sense to simply fill up pyramids, attracting workers (or slaves). Waste of resources on the ambitions of the ruler? It is only in the words of historians that they were. Many words can be written on this topic, but even this will only be an opinion. Let's move on to observations and facts.
Let's start with the most famous places:
Teotihuacan. The pyramids look like hills that are lined with stone for tourists. Moreover, they did not do it along the entire perimeter, but only on the front side. It is for tourists. And there are still many small unpaved hills to the side.
Maybe these are not pyramids, but dumps? But then where is the quarry or the mine? The territory is flat. The mountains are far away. Or maybe there are mines under these pyramid hills? What if there is an ore body underneath? Did geologists work here? Unknown. There is scant information that archaeologists have found under the pyramids of the dungeon:

The entrance to the tunnel is a square shaft with a side of 5 meters. Everything is like with our mine construction technologies.
And we are not told how far these underground passages go. Either they were not cleared, or this is superfluous information for us in their opinion. Could these be mines? Or is it a coincidence? I will answer with the words of the TV presenter: Coincidence? I don’t think so!
Moving on to the pyramids of China.
There are about 300 objects in Xi'an province. There are very small ones. And there are, well, just huge.
Where did you get the soil for them? Where are these careers? What was it transported on? How many years have they been building? No information. Did Chinese scientists conduct research for the presence of ore bodies in this area, looking for caves, adits? There is also no information. There is no information about the structure of these pyramids in section.
Why, if poured, then poured the hills in this form? And here is the answer:
Do you think they are pyramids? No, these are coal waste heaps in the Donbass. They were poured according to this technology of suspended trolleys, which allows you to involuntarily get such shapes. One of the photos shows this equipment.
Doesn't this stepped waste heap remind you of the stepped pyramid in Mexico? Or just a dirt pyramid? If in 20-30 years its edges are eaten by erosion - there will be one to one Chinese pyramid.
Information about minerals in Xi'an. Yes, the goodies are in the mountains to the south. But outcrops of ore bodies on the plain are also possible.
The Chinese are reluctant, but dripping at the foot of these pyramids. The most famous excavations are those of the Terracotta Army. European archaeologists are not allowed to new excavations. Many pyramids are surrounded by barbed wire.
A comment from one of our tourists who tried to look at such an excavation. This is the first time I hear about swords coated with molybdenum. But this could be a clue in this topic of the article.
I believe that only the extraction and processing of something allows you to get the motivation to fill such hills, waste heaps or historical earth pyramids.
There are many more examples of similar pyramid mounds:

In China, there are provinces in mountainous regions where such terraced farming exists. There are no photos or videos of how hardworking Chinese people created all this.

I am not suggesting that all terraces in China are of this origin. But they could have adapted or disguised something for them. In the Caucasus, there are also terraces that are not inferior in scale to the Chinese ones. I wrote about this here.

Imagine that, during a flood, this artificial lowland is covered with clay and compared to threatening areas. Nobody remembers the quarry anymore, but there are stepped hills or terraced slopes sticking out.

For example, now we are starting to process gold-bearing dumps of the mid-20th century and earlier, because learned to extract gold from rocks with a low content of it using acids and even bacteria.
