The fact that there were real pyramids in France, now not even all the French know, but all because the ancient structures were simply demolished, destroyed, destroyed. Such actions were justified by the urgent need, allegedly the pyramid interfered with the laying of the next highway. In the photo above, the same ancient pyramid of Saint-André, more than 50 meters high, at the base of 200 meters, destroyed by the authorities, was located northeast of Nice.

Its construction was dated by scientists around 4000 BC and, according to those same scientists, it was an important historical evidence of European civilization on the continent before the Roman Empire and the emergence of Christianity. However, despite its historical significance, in the 70s the pyramid was completely demolished to make way for a motorway.

This is the last of the surviving photographs where you can see a half-destroyed pyramid without a top. The road along which the building material was taken out from the dismantled pyramid is clearly visible.

Today, crowds of French tourists go to Egypt to look at the pyramids, and in fact, quite recently, they could see similar structures at home.

There are other pyramids on the territory of France, of course less impressive in size, but they are forgotten, abandoned and almost destroyed by time.

The pyramid is 33 meters high, built according to the assurances of historians in the 1st century during the time of Emperor Vespasian. It stands in the area of the ancient necropolis "Urn Field" which is located in the city of Autun. According to scientists, the pyramid served as a funerary monument for the buried Romans, but on its walls there are ancient symbols of the Druids, which makes the pyramid at least 200 years older.

Now the pyramid is gradually collapsing and is in a very deplorable state. Neither scientists, nor historians, nor the French government need it.

Another pyramid erected over the entrance to the Ratapignata grotto was discovered by Domenico Rossetti in 1803 near Nice. Since then, disputes about the date of construction and its purpose have not died out. Basic versions: a temple of the Gallo-Roman period (near Nice there was a Roman colony Cemenelum) and a Templar sanctuary. Now the pyramid is almost completely destroyed.

Several ancient pyramids were destroyed at once, and the rest are useless and almost completely destroyed, all the more surprising why the modern pyramid La Pertus was built, allegedly built by Ricardo Bofill in 1974-1976.

Perhaps the architect had a hand in the pyramid only after decorating the stairs, covered the edges with stone and built an awkward structure on the existing pyramid.

In the 70s, the French authorities demolished one of the ancient pyramids of Europe - Saint-André, making room for the highway, and in another place, at the same time, at the junction of the A9 and AP7 highways, a remake is being erected.
