Moving massive stone blocks mined for miles and assembling colossal structures with high precision seems an insurmountable task even today. How were people managed thousands of years ago without using construction equipment? The ancient Egyptians must have known something or someone that we don't have.
Some say it was only access to alien technology that allowed the ancients to create stone structures, working with blocks weighing under 70 tons with such perfect alignment. While it may be that we are simply not giving them the respect they deserve as strong engineers and designers.
The ancient Egyptians were terribly smart, which is perhaps why they could build pyramids without any help from aliens. Assuming the pyramids were built by human hands, how would this be done? Most of the blocks that make up the Great Pyramid of Khufu are hard limestone and granite. The limestone blocks were probably sourced locally, but the granite blocks, some over 70 tons, were transported from thousands of kilometers distant sites.
So how did a civilization that did not achieve the simplest wheel technology not only move huge loads, but was able to develop advanced architecture and high precision in laying heavy blocks? This is a subject of reflection and discussion over the centuries, although researchers have ideas how this could happen.
Most experts agree that some method was used to transport the blocks, but their configuration remains unknown. Some think that several long ramps from the ground to the work area were built around the building.
One of the ancient references gives a hint: the blocks were lifted into place using a support mechanism that allowed builders to manipulate the load with relative ease. To facilitate the movement of blocks on the ground, round lumber and lubricant were used for sliding. The Nile River was probably used to transport material over long distances by "barges".
So, having considered the above methods, as well as those that we have not yet come up with, we can explain how the ancient people built the pyramids on their own. Of course, the hardest work, but with great difficulty and encouragement from the Pharaoh, it was possible.
