This sensational find was announced back in 2005 by amateur archaeologist S. Osmanagik, who claimed that he had discovered as many as Five giant pyramids. Until that time it was believed that no pyramids existed on the territory of modern Europe. And the discovered structures are not only the largest, but also the most ancient on our Earth.
The government of Bosnia, after short meetings, decided to allocate a grant for research of the discovered megalithic structures. In the same 2005, the scientist conducted a number of studies and gave his conclusion that the mountain, which was already covered with forest, is nothing more than the oldest pyramid at least 220 meters high, and its estimated age is 40,000 years!
The active phase of archaeological research with the help of all the most modern apparatus and equipment began in 2006 and reports of sensational discoveries were sent literally right away. It was found that “the pyramid was built of huge blocks, a wide staircase was laid to the top, a road was laid out at the foot, and spacious passages were cut down in the depths of the megalith.
It was also revealed that all the pyramids were connected by underground tunnels. And the three largest are called the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon and the Pyramid of the Dragon.

All these discoveries were reported personally by the initiator of the excavations. And these statements literally split the scientific world into two halves. Some admired the sensational find, while others did not believe and demanded solid evidence in the form of artifacts and photo-video materials.
The scientific world could not imagine how such monumental structures literally in the very center of Europe were unnoticed. And therefore tremendous pressure was exerted on all members of the expedition. From the general list of invited scientists from countries such as Australia, Austria, Scotland, Slovenia, scientists were afraid to come. Since participation in this study could undermine their credibility in the community.
Later, the expedition members were provided with materials proving the correctness of their sensational discovery, but all of them were recorded as "a play of imagination and a wonderful joke of nature." The expedition was also accused of deliberately deforming the hill to give it a pyramidal shape, and its clear orientation, again, was recognized as a "joke of nature."
The discovered tunnels were attributed to mines for the extraction of minerals, and to the striking edges of the pyramid as the result of tectonic disturbances.
Thus, the sensational find was again rejected by the world community and banally forgotten. After all, scientists do not want to believe that next to the European who ran in skins, there was another developed civilization, building gigantic megalithic structures and possessing high knowledge in many disciplines and sciences.
