I. Baranovsky, a participant of the sixth expedition, says the same: “Those who have visited the Kashkulak cave told amazing things. At some point, they were suddenly seized by an unreasonable panic fear. Forgetting everything, throwing equipment
they rushed with all their might, overtaking each other, to the exit, to the light. Later, having come to their senses, they could not explain in any way: what happened? And these were not newcomers - experienced speleologists who had seen caves much more complicated than this one in their lifetime”. Subsequently, Baranovsky told an even more amazing story.

Konstantin was the last to go. I fastened the rope to a special belt covering the chest and prepared for the climb. And suddenly he felt a gaze on himself. The scientist was bathed in heat. “If the very fact of hallucination can still be somehow tried to explain,” notes A. Kamanov, “by the unusual situation, pressing on the psyche with the atmosphere of a tight, confined space, then what is behind the repetition of the same visions by different people, especially in a dream?”
Too many questions have arisen. The IKEM scientists rightly decided that the method of instrumental observations would be suitable for obtaining an answer in this case. The researchers installed magnetometers inside and outside the cave. Inside - in the Sleeping Grotto, outside - at the highest platform.
