For 20 years, numerous television shows, documentaries and news outlets around the world have been talking about triangular UFOs with bright glowing lights on the underside. Who are these mysterious triangles? Secret developments of the US Air Force or ships of alien visitors?
As a rule, these aircraft are in the eyes of frightened eyewitnesses a length greater than a football field and a height of a two-story mansion, as well as a black surface that does not reflect any light. Although occasionally they glow orange or yellow. The strangest thing that most reports indicate is the almost silent flight of these huge UFOs.
One of the earliest reports of the mysterious triangle came in January 1979 from the village of Herkimer, in upstate New York. One evening one of the local residents went on a snowmobile to visit a friend who lives 8 km from the village.
According to him, it suddenly became very quiet. He didn't even hear the noise of his snowmobile's engine, and the headlight went out. He looked up and saw the outlines of a huge black triangle, covering the starry sky. There were no lights on it and no sound was made.
For about two minutes, the huge ship moved over the head of a frozen eyewitness, and as he approached the power lines, lightning began to jump from the wires to the top of its hull. Soon, the UFO flew over the hills and then disappeared from view. When the local resident returned home, no one believed him.
The next messages about the mysterious triangle came in October 1982 from the city of Ovasco, which stands on the shores of the lake of the same name. In October 2010, during a football match in the town of Skanitels, located in the northern part of Lake Skanitels, many fans saw the black triangle. In December 2011, a family from the town of Silvan Beach observed two such ships near Lake Oneida. On the night of June 2012, a black triangle hovered over the northwestern part of Lake Hiawatha. And on July 15, 2013, a couple from the city of Earlville observed a huge orange triangular ship for several minutes.
It is curious that in recent years the frequency of appearance of UFO triangles has increased tenfold. Investigators from the World UFO Network (MUFON) have provided a chronology of reports of black triangles over just one state of New York. While there were a total of 34 reports from 1979 to 2000, 414 reports on black triangles were received from 2001 to 2016. It would be interesting to know what is happening around the world.
