The history of the Bermuda Triangle, also known as the "Devil's Triangle", has troubled the hearts of people since about the beginning of 1800. This area is in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean - and there is actually some devilry going on there. Ships and planes disappeared here in the past and are still missing today, leaving no trace. Here are some of the top mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle - stay out of those waters.
Carroll A. Deering
One of the most famous ghost ships was found on January 31, 1921. The last time a schooner loaded with coal was seen on January 29 of the same year at the floating lighthouse, but without a crew. On board the ghost ship, the rescuers did not find any evidence of what had happened, everything remained in place, as if the crew had just left the schooner.
Flight 19
In December 1945, a group of five US Navy Avengers, called Flight 19, took off for a routine orientation training. After some time, the squad leader realized with amazement that he could not return to the base - the more they searched for land, the further they went into the open ocean. In the last message (communication with the base was maintained all the time), the commander decided to land the planes on the water due to lack of fuel. Nobody has ever seen Flight 19 again.

Ellen Austin
Captain "Ellen Austin" noticed an unknown schooner in the Central Atlantic and decided to disembark part of the crew on board. A valuable cargo was found on board the strange ship. Both ships headed for Boston, but only one reached the harbor. The ghost ship vanished into thin air with the entire crew.
Douglas DC- 3
The Douglas Dakota or DC-3 has always been considered one of the most reliable aircraft of its time. In December 1948, another DC-3 took off from Puerto Rico with 28 passengers on board. The flight was bound for Miami but disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle. No wreckage or other traces were found.
The disappearance of Trislander
Do you think all the mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle are in the past? The mystic has no age. In December 2008, the three-engined Trislander flew from Santiago to New York with 12 passengers on board, but never made it to its destination. Just 35 minutes after takeoff, the plane disappeared from radar. Despite massive US Coast Guard search operations, no one knows what happened to the plane and its crew.
Flight 441
On October 30, 1954, Flight 441 simply disappeared at the very border of the Bermuda Triangle. The pilot didn't even have time to send the SOS signal to the Body? Wreckage? Nothing like this. Dissolved into thin air - suddenly and forever.
BSAA Star Tiger
A British aircraft from South American Airways was heading for Bermuda from Santa Maria, but disappeared somewhere in the Atlantic. The pilot quite calmly asked for Bermuda, received an answer - and that was all. After half an hour, there was no connection. In thirty minutes, 25 passengers and 6 crew members disappeared.
