Newlyweds from Texas heading to the Bahamas after their wedding may have been the latest victims of the infamous Bermuda Triangle.
Forrest and Donna Sacco embarked on a week-long journey from Fort Worth, where they took off in their private jet, and landed on Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas on September 25, 2017.
The next day, after refueling their plane, the couple headed for the nearby island of Rum Cay, but never made it to their destination.
Unfortunately, their lack of contact with family and friends over the next week raised no suspicions. But after the newlyweds did not return home from their "honeymoon in paradise", their loved ones began to suspect that something was wrong here. However, searches for a pair did not yield any results. There was no indication that they ever appeared on Roma Kay.
Naturally, the ominous ghost of the Bermuda Triangle hovered over the place of their disappearance, since, indeed, the plane of the newly-made spouses disappeared within this most mysterious place on the planet.
Since the circumstances behind the disappearance of ships and aircraft in the area remain a mystery, it is impossible to say whether the disappearance of the pair is due to the Bermuda Triangle, or they were the victim of recent powerful hurricanes.
The lack of help from the authorities in the Bahamas prompted friends and family members to hire private jets to search for them in the hope that the newlyweds somehow miraculously survived.
Sadly, Forrest and Donna Sacco are the second couple of Americans to go missing in the Bermuda Triangle in 2017. A similar incident took place in May this year.
