Shocking UFO news appears almost every day, but is there any truth in it?
The military has repeatedly made statements that clearly do not fit into the general picture of unidentified objects. UFO sightings are usually reported by ufologists, who show photographs and videos of dubious quality as evidence. Among the rumors about the military, there is a version that they simply cannot disclose information about the appearance of strange objects, but sometimes they still come out with such statements.
One such person is Christopher Mellon, who was a former US Department of Defense officer, so his words were taken quite seriously. Mellon noted that most of the military and American officials are aware of the UFO problem and this is not a new phenomenon, but the government should take some steps to decide what to do next.
The ex-officer noted that the largest number of cases of the appearance of unidentified objects are recorded by the military from the ships. Often UFOs appear out of the water, and then also disappear under water, which may suggest the idea of underwater bases of extraterrestrial civilizations. These words could have been ignored, if not for the significant post that Mellon held in the past.
Why would a former undersecretary of defense for intelligence draw so much attention to himself if he wasn't confident in his words?
As information about UFOs, a former military man pointed out the incredible speed of movement of these objects, and our technology is not capable of creating something similar. What's more, the technology behind these machines is so incredible that there are no by-products from the engines, such as exhaust gases or plumes. Mellon has repeatedly spoken not only at conferences on the problem of the appearance of UFOs, but also gave interviews for various world media. He notes that this problem is not new and that a lot of high-ranking military personnel and officials know about it. But the reason and purpose of these objects, as well as the technologies used to build such aircraft, are still unknown.
The former officer also recalled the incidents in 2014-15, when numerous military personnel from the US Navy observed a large number of unidentified objects that moved at a speed of 5,000 soap per hour or more. These objects appeared for several minutes, but some of them could be within sight of several hours or even a whole day, as if they were observing the actions of the military.
Mellon also noted that there is a ban on the disclosure of such cases among the military, but sometimes the information still gets publicly available. Sailors are often confused and do not understand what kind of phenomenon they were able to observe in the sky. While some militaries believe that these are new developments of the Pentagon, others are wary about extraterrestrial technology.

Mellon believes that the appearance of unidentified objects can be a security threat not only for the US military, but also for the military of other countries. Already, cases of collisions of fighter pilots with such devices are allegedly known, and some countries may have UFO wreckage at their disposal.
Another problem is that officials are trying to hide any data about the appearance of unidentified objects, and it would be necessary to join forces with leaders of each country to find out the real purpose of the appearance of these aircraft, Christopher notes.
But why don't the governments of the countries want to disclose classified information and not interact with the military of other countries?
Recently, the Pentagon is more and more actively investigating the stories of the military about the meeting with UFOs, which may indicate the agency's interest in obtaining such technologies for its own purposes. So if more and more military people talk about a conspiracy to hide information about extraterrestrial civilizations, maybe they really exist, but this data is being hidden from the general public?
