The monster in the Kobyakov settlement
An archaeological monument that separates Rostov and Aksai. The city is overgrown with many terrible legends.
The most famous of them is the story of the mysterious death of Soviet soldiers in 1949.
According to legend, the soldiers were sent to the caves for research. It was planned to build a command center of the North Caucasus Military District in the Kobyakov settlement. The first time their campaign ended safely, but the soldiers allegedly never returned from the second.
After a while, as local residents say, their bodies were found mutilated in one of the branches of the caves. The Kobyakovo settlement itself is now a huge hill on the banks of the Don.
This place causes superstitious horror in people due to a system of underground passages the size of a small city, which has not been fully explored until now.

UFO and Green Island
In the mid 40s of the last century, this place became famous throughout the Soviet Union. The story of a UFO that fell into this place during the Great Patriotic War remains a rumor to this day.
According to the urban legend, a disc-shaped ship fell on the island. Local residents learned about this from former NKVD officers. Researchers of the paranormal are also trying to confirm this version, who claim that there is strange activity on the island.
According to another version, an aircraft actually fell on the island, but it turned out to be an enemy reconnaissance aircraft.
Now the island is overgrown with new legends. Rostovites from time to time report abnormally large plants, as well as short-term loss of people and animals.
The miller and its real estate
Rostov is still relatively young, but he has already acquired his famous ghosts. The most famous of them is perhaps the ghost of the miller on Gazetnoye.
According to legends, house No. 47, built before the revolution, used to belong to miller Solodov. His factory was located near the house. One day a terrible fire broke out at the factory, which left the man without a livelihood.
After that, the miller went crazy and spent most of his time in the ruins of his factory. According to the legend, Solodov did not leave the factory even after his death.
In April this year it became known that Solodov's house was going to be renovated.

The reconstruction at Stanislavsky Street was hampered not only by the living, but also by those who had already gone into another world.
In 2017, a burial of ancient meots was found on the street during reconstruction. This summer, an ancient necropolis was found again in the section from Budyonnovsky to Semashko.
New and new burials were at an astonishing frequency, which greatly slowed down the progress of the street renovation. The reconstruction was planned to be completed in 2017, after which the date was postponed to October 2019, but the street was never completed on time.
Whether its reconstruction is hindered by the dead, buried on Stanislavsky, or whether it was caused by other circumstances - still remains one of the most mystical questions for all citizens.
Cemeteries and their inhabitants
Cemeteries of the traditional are considered the center of paranormal events.
One of the most visited places with this name was the train cemetery near the Rostov-Zapadny station. This place has not yet overgrown with mystical legends, but the place itself looks very exciting.
Another famous cemetery was the Armenian or Proletarian cemetery. It still has a valid status, although it is one of the oldest in the city.
