The theory that the catastrophe was indeed predicted by a famous astrologer as early as the 16th century spread almost immediately among conspiracy theorists. However, in fact, these lines were not written by Nostradamus, but by Canadian student Neil Marshall in 1997 in an essay about him. In his work, he illustrated how abstract language can be material for "prophecy."
Theory 3. The twin towers collapsed in a controlled explosion
Seismological measurements were proposed as evidence for this version, which, it was claimed, indicated a bomb explosion.
But the geologists of the university that provided these measurements themselves told Popular Mechanics that the claim that seismological vibrations could be the result of bomb explosions is "categorically incorrect and taken out of context." In 2005, this theory was finally refuted by the American National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), releasing a report that clearly stated that the towers collapsed due to the fact that they were damaged by an aircraft flying at them at high speed.

Theory 4. Instead of an airplane, there was a rocket
The attack on the headquarters of the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) killed a total of 189 people. Over time, the theory gained popularity that it was not a passenger Boeing that crashed into the building, but a rocket or a small military plane.
They started talking about this due to the fact that the wreckage of the aircraft was not clearly visible in the photographs and videos. However, this is explained by the fact that after a collision with the Pentagon, the airliner simply penetrated further into the building between the second and third floors, and then exploded.
Theory 5. Flight 93 was shot down by the military or a mysterious white plane
Flight 93 was the fourth passenger plane to crash in the United States that day. It crashed into a field in southwestern Pennsylvania near Shanksville before reaching the White House.
Many eyewitnesses saw the white plane flying at a low altitude immediately after the crash and then began to associate this with the crash of Flight 93. However, it soon became clear that it was an ordinary private plane heading to the airport of nearby Johnstown.
Theory 6. Four thousand Israelis didn't show up for work - a coincidence?
The theory is that 4,000 people with Israeli / Jewish roots working at the World Trade Center did not go to work and stayed at home after being warned by Israeli security. However, this version did not receive any refutation or confirmation. Most in the US consider it absurd.
