Video: Roswell: The UFO mystery that still haunts America | Planet America 2024, March
Anonim

According to the existing legend, on July 2, 1947, in the town of Roswell, New Mexico, USA, one of the most significant events in the history of mankind took place: the accident of a flying saucer. The bodies of the dead, and possibly even living humanoids, were found at the scene of the accident. According to the same legend, the US authorities did everything to hide the truth about the incident from the public, officially declaring it an accident of the weather balloon. This mysterious story is more than half a century old, there are almost no witnesses left, which only gives rise to new fantastic versions. And the secret remains unsolved until now

And then one day, in the early 90s, the author of this article, who at one time was an expert on anomalous phenomena of the State Committee for Hydromet of the USSR, came up with an unexpected idea: what if we try to unleash this secret from the other end? Ufologists of all countries have a lot of material about the Roswell incident and subsequent events in the United States after July 2, 1947, when, according to legend, the official authorities and the military had something to hide. But if we turn back the clock, we will find ourselves in a period when the event had not yet happened and the organizations mentioned had nothing to hide.

In 1992, one of the author's acquaintances was heading for an internship in the United States, and just in the state of New Mexico. And although his attitude to the UFO problem was rather skeptical, he agreed to conduct a small investigation of these | events, using the information that appeared in the American press after.

The result is stunning.

The volume of this publication allows to state only “the facts and events that took place in and around New Mexico just a week before the incident, but this is enough to assess the situation and draw an unambiguous conclusion.

June 26, 1947. While patrolling the highway near the town of Bisbe, two police officers, Lieutenant O. Mason and Sergeant J. O'Neill, while in southeastern Arizona near the New Mexico border, saw a disc-shaped object about 20 meters in diameter in the windshield, hovering on a small altitude above the highway. There was a vehicle directly under the object, which was stationary. Approaching him about a hundred yards, the police noticed that the engine in their car began to work intermittently and then stalled. Then they got out of it and went to a closed "dodge" standing on the highway, in which there was a local farmer S. Dixon with his young son. His engine also stalled for an unknown reason. At that moment, when they got out of the car, the disk hovering above them jerked sharply to the side and, having developed a speed higher than that of a jet plane, went towards the border of the state of New Mexico. A few minutes after his disappearance, the engines of both cars started up.

27th of June

Major George W. Wilcox of Warren, Arizona, reported eight or nine discs that were traveling at high speed and kept in line perfectly. The discs flew over his house at intervals of three seconds eastward. He estimated that the discs were about 1000 feet high.

According to a resident of Pole, New Mexico, W. S. Dobbs, at 9.50 am a white disk, sparkling like a light bulb, flew over the city. A little later, Captain EB Detchmendi observed the same or a similar object flying southwest over the White Sands Missile Range. The captain reported the drive to his superior, Lieutenant Colonel Harold Tourner.

At 10:00 am Mrs. Davia Apelzemer of San Miguel, New Mexico, observed a similar object, also flying over the city in a southwest direction. Lieutenant Colonel Turner from the missile range officially announced that no missile launches have been made since June 12.

June 28. Captain F. Dwan, flying in the area of Alamogordo, New Mexico, where the nuclear center is located, observed a fireball that left a blue trail behind it. The object passed under his plane and disappeared.

June 29

Army pilots searched for an object (!) That reportedly crashed near Cliff, New Mexico, sometime in the morning, but found nothing but a strange smell in the air.

30 June. That night, an object finally appeared, hereinafter referred to as the mother ship, or disk carrier. To some extent, this message provides an answer to the natural question: where was all this flying armada based, which flooded the sky over the state of New Mexico in June?

The crew and passengers of the Landoveri Castle coaster, 12 in all, watched as a huge object began to descend from the night sky towards their ship. When he descended to a height of 40-50 meters and was half a mile from the ship, he turned on a blinding light that came from the bottom of the object to the surface of the water. It became clear that the object is twice as long as the vessel, that is, it reaches a length of about 300 meters! It moved completely silently and, according to witnesses, was made of shiny metal. The airship was above the ship for several minutes, then turned off the searchlights, slowly and silently rose into the night sky and flew back to where it appeared.

30 June. Railwayman A. Price observed 13 disc-shaped objects flying one after another over Albuquerque, New Mexico during the day. He informed the neighbors about this, and soon almost all the inhabitants of the town ran out of their houses and watched the strange maneuvers in the sky.

30 June. Evening. Mrs. Helen Hardin, an employee of Quay County Abstract, watched the disc from her porch at 11:00 pm. It was about half the size of the disk of a full moon and moved at great speed from east to west.

July 1. Max Hood, an employee of the Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, said he saw a bluish disc zig-zagging.

Mr. and Mrs. Moon from Phoenix reported seeing a large object moving eastward around 9am.

July 2. Mr. and Mrs. Wilmet of Roswell observed a large luminous object flying at high speed over their house in the northwest direction.

So the Roswell incident is just a few hours away. As you can see, both the authorities and the military absolutely calmly perceived all this incredible information, without even trying to refute it. The pilots report that they did not find the fallen object, and Lieutenant Colonel Turner from the missile base willingly reports that they did not launch any missiles.

Now let's turn to the laws of statistics. If only in June 1947 and only from the state of New Mexico there were dozens of reports on the observation of flying discs, and if all these are atmospheric or astronomical phenomena plus sounding balloons, as the American government would later assert, then in July, and in August, and in the following months, these statistics should have generally remained the same. Taking into account the weather conditions, which in that area change little during the year.

But something quite different happened: after the July 2 incident in Roswell, in the entire American press, and not just in one state, these messages seemed to be truncated - for the remaining half of the year they can be counted on one hand. And this, in principle, should not be!

Two versions are possible here: after the accident, the plates sharply reduced their activity, but this would not have affected the observations of other phenomena, not related to plates, of the same meteors and balloons.

Another version was put forward by the American press itself. Here is just one headline from the Dallas Daily Times Herald: "The government is trying to stop talking about flying discs."

It means that something really extraordinary happened in Roswell on July 2, since the government took such measures on a national scale!
