The first stage of a slow ascent is needed by the UFO crew in order not to crash at high speed into natural obstacles: trees, rocks, etc. Here, there is a relatively small suppression of gravity, and the Earth, as it were, reluctantly lets the car away from itself. When gaining a safe altitude, gravity is completely suppressed, and the Archimedean force shoots the vehicle that has lost its weight in the desired UFO direction. Such a departure pattern figures in the vast majority of reports and, therefore, is the rule followed by UFO pilots.
