Everyone, I'm sure, has heard the urban legends of St. Petersburg and Moscow more than once or twice. It is generally accepted that ghosts live only on the streets and in the old houses of large cities. But, objectively, the Tver region is not at all small, and there will be enough old houses here for a whole shelter for otherworldly spirits. Staritsky caves
The legendary Staritsa caves, natural and artificial, are located on two banks of the Volga and stretch 40 km from the village of Molokovo to the village of Nizhny Spas. There are countless stories associated with the caves, they say that the library of Ivan the Terrible moved here, and local old-timers claim that the caves empty the head and heal the soul and body. But all this pales in comparison with the legend (or not?) About the Satanists. According to some persons and programs of a historical nature, once a group of speleologists arrived in the caves, and during the research they discovered the "black temple". Apparently, Satanists quietly performed their rituals in quiet caves, sheltered from people.

And you are all Chernobyl-Chernobyl … There is a kind of anomalous zone in the Tver region. This place is located near the Cunya station. According to legend, only witches and sorcerers live in the surrounding villages, and the abandoned forest does contain all the horrors of the world. In fact, of the really confirmed facts, only one anomaly is observed here: lightning systematically striking the same place. With what this is connected and how it is explained, we cannot say. The section of the E-105 highway near the village of Nikolskoye in human courts has the status of the most emergency road. It is believed that the worst road accidents in the Tver region took place here: leaving the road, mass clashes, many injured. Some argue that they lose their vigilance at night while moving on this segment, and someone hears voices or sees silhouettes. Who knows who to believe. Fear has big eyes.
Kimry Triangle
I don’t know what’s in Bermuda, but the Tver region did not go far here either. Residents of Kimry say that the anomalous zone stretches between the Kirsky, Rameshkovsky and Kalininsky districts. This zone was lit up in the novel by the Strugatsky brothers, perhaps because of this it acquired such fame. It is believed that all UFOs that decide to visit Tver flock here, a beacon - not otherwise. Daredevils who visited the cursed place on purpose, or mushroom pickers who wandered into the local swamps by accident, as one argue about strange structures sticking out of the ground and unpleasant sensations.
Well, perhaps, the legends of the Tver region are not as creepy as the legends of other cities, since I could not find stories about houses with cruel unsolved murders or monsters emerging from the forest under cover of night. Perhaps everything described above has a logical and scientific explanation.
