The existence of this terrible valley became known at the end of the 19th century, when hundreds of gold prospectors rushed into the canyons of Canada. This valley has earned the fame of a real Klondike. It was then that the bloody countdown of the first victims of this place began. It should be noted that all the victims were people capable of standing up for themselves

Notoriety

In 1898, the first group of six gold diggers disappeared from the valley. And in 1905 there was a tragedy with the brothers William and Frank McLeod and their craft partner Robert Veer. The three of them went to the valley, which by then had already earned a rather bad reputation, and since then no one has seen them. Only three years later, the decapitated skeletons of these people were discovered in a valley that was already known to gold prospectors as the Valley of the Headless.

The list of victims, however, continued to grow: 1921 - John Brian, 1922 - Angus Hall, 1932 - Phil Power, 1936 - William Eppler and Joseph Mulgalland, 1940 - Homberg. And each time they found decapitated bodies, in extremely rare cases the head was nearby.

In 1962, a special expedition headed by Canadian scientist Blake Mackenzie went to the Valley of the Headless. The researchers had to sort out the terrible events taking place in the Valley. And what? The heads of the members of the expedition disappeared without a trace, only their mutilated bodies were found. Three years later, another expedition, consisting of a German and two Swedes, set off in the footsteps of Mackenzie. But she suffered the same fate.

"Emptiness comes out of the rock"

The inhabitants of the village, located several tens of kilometers from the "cursed" place, were sure that this was the work of Bigfoot. However, the police had other versions - the dismantling of the gold miners who did not share the precious metal. However, it was not excluded that all this is the work of the Indians who guard their treasures.

In 1978, an expedition of Dr. Hank Mortimer, consisting of six people and equipped with the latest technology, went to the Valley of the Headless to test these versions. Soon they reported on the radio that they had successfully reached the site, set up a tent and were going to go deep into the valley. And in the evening of the same day, the last words were pronounced on the radio: “Emptiness comes out of the rock. It's awful …”

A military unit was immediately raised on alarm and set off to the scene. However, both the tent and the expedition itself fell through the ground. And only on the sixth day the headless corpse of one of the missing was found. After this incident, another, inherently mystical, version arose: all this is a matter of some dark force.

Impenetrable fog

In March 1997, an international expedition headed to the Valley of the Headless, which included both scientists and anomaly specialists, as well as the military. Realizing that a collision with the unknown is quite real, all security measures were taken. The expedition was equipped with armored vehicles and the same armored trailers for housing, constant video surveillance was carried out.

At first everything was calm, but on the third day a radio message was received that an impenetrable fog was covering the valley, and the connection was interrupted. When the fog cleared, the valley was surveyed from helicopters, but no one was found in it.

But the research did not end there, from satellites, and today, tireless monitoring of this anomalous zone is being conducted. And recently a group of Canadian researchers put forward a rather curious hypothesis. In their opinion, in the Valley of the Headless there is a kind of tunnel of transition to a parallel world, which is inhabited by certain essences of a nature unknown to us, a kind of dark forces. But no one is able to understand the meaning of the strange manipulations that these entities perform with people …

But in general, according to the inhabitants of the surrounding villages, you have to be truly headless in order to go on your own will to the ominous valley, whose secret remains hidden behind the family seals.
