Another ship with people disappeared on Lake Baikal. Now the search and rescue squad is searching for the pleasure boat Yamaha, which went into the lake-sea with four men on June 16 and has not yet returned. Moreover, everyone notes that the men were experienced sailors. However, some have already "written off" the crew of the boat: the ship disappeared in the most mysterious region of Lake Baikal

So, in order. The boat left the settlement Zarechye of the Kabansky district of Buryatia, there were four men in it. They had to return quickly, they were just going to try out the new motor on a small boat, but communication with them was lost almost immediately. As Pravda. Ru was told in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Buryatia, on Monday, seven rescuers carried out the search work with the help of seven units of equipment, on Tuesday another detachment continued the search, in the area of Cape Svyatoy Nos and in the area of Chivyrkuisky and Barguzinsky bays, searches are being conducted from using the Mi-8 helicopter.

Those who have disappeared from 35 to 63 years old, experienced people, a short sailing trip seems to be a trifle for them. Why did they disappear, and without a trace? Their phones are out of the network coverage area (although mobile communication in that area of the lake-sea is excellent for all cellular operators). The local press has already voiced a version that the lost got lost in the fog that was established after their departure.

But all the same - the fog has already gone, and there have been no storms since their departure on Lake Baikal, they could hardly turn over and sink. Unless they crashed on the shore due to thick fog, but this is also unlikely: nothing was found on the banks for tens of kilometers. The boat sank, as in the Bermuda Triangle …

Finally, literally the day before, a version of the boat's disappearance appeared, into which the whole situation actually fits. The ship sank in the anomalous zone of Lake Baikal, like many other small vessels. History lost track of counting how many people disappeared in the mysterious depths of Baikal. We will not even add here those who died on the Baikal ice on loose ice floes, on cars or snowmobiles that fell through the ice.

And without them, the count goes to tens and hundreds, if not thousands, only in the foreseeable historical period. From the Baikal fishermen you can often hear stories about how trains and ancient castles, ancient ships, and also ships of aliens - what scientists call mirages - appeared to them over the transparent surface of the lake.

Moreover, very often in different areas of the sea-lake, when mirages appear, interference occurs in magnetic fields, which lead to malfunctions in the operation of ship instruments, primarily navigation.

Igor Yanushev, a member of the annual expeditions to Baikal of the Slavyane sports and tourist group, Candidate of Medical Sciences, commented on the situation to Pravda. Ru:

Promotional video:

“Every year I hear a lot about Lake Baikal, often mysterious. Usually I work in our expeditions as a simple doctor, but very often I have to be both a psychologist and a psychiatrist: the secrets of the lake can lead a person into very peculiar states.

For example, Baikal has ideal conditions for the appearance of mirages: streams of warm air over chilled water in summer, a transparent atmosphere and severe frosts with immovable air in winter. In layers of air with different densities, light rays are refracted, distorted and take on fantastic shapes. This is what could have brought the missing men from the Yamaha boat to no one knows where - the Baikal mirages are very clear, everything looks like the real thing!

Since ancient times, there have been rumors about Lake Baikal and legends about incredible mirages have been told. They are very often seen by researchers and local fishermen in such famous places as near the island of Bolshoy Ushkaniy, in the area of Cape Solnechny and the famous island of Olkhon. This phenomenon on Lake Baikal is called golomenitsa, which is popularly means “clearing the hassle”.

Recently, many famous scientists have seriously taken up the study of Lake Baikal. They are still at a loss: how can such numerous unexplained phenomena occur in one place? And here's another thing - approximately in the places where the boat "Yamaha" disappeared, a few tens of kilometers southeast of Olkhon Island, in the deepest part of Lake Baikal, there is a place called the Devil's Funnel.

An unremarkable area of the lake with an area of two square kilometers is famous for the fact that sometimes, not more than once or twice a year, the waters of the lake begin to "riot" there. It is then that small ships disappear there along with their crews.

Baikal seems to swallow ships together with people … In good weather and complete calmness, an incredible rotation of water begins in this place, and soon a large funnel appears in its very epicenter, sucking everything around. Local residents assure that in this way the abyss opens, through which the souls of dead sinners go to the underworld.

The most interesting thing is that this phenomenon has been documented for a long time, so to speak - there are films, videos, numerous photographs, and eyewitness accounts. Several years ago, some navigators proposed to completely close this area of Lake Baikal for navigation, but for some reason this has not yet been done."

In general, how the search for the Yamaha with four crew members will end is hard to even imagine. I remember the cases when fishermen disappeared somewhere for a whole week, but then suddenly, as if nothing had happened, they themselves were sure that only a few hours had passed …
