Five years ago, my husband and I moved into a country house. Although the house was not new, it was cool: two floors, a large garden, a bathhouse and a huge courtyard. We moved to a new house with our cat, which began to behave rather strangely in a new place. She could stand in one place for a long time and stare into emptiness. Moreover, the cat was always interested in the same place, it was the living room. It scared me that she could look at a completely empty wall for an hour and even more.
By the movement of the eyes, it was possible to determine that the animal was observing something. At first we thought we had insects. Then - what a mouse. But we did not find any traces of any pests. Over time, we came to terms with her unusual and strange behavior.
After a while we decided to get a dog. We bought a tiny puppy - a German shepherd. As soon as a puppy appeared in our house, our life began to change before our eyes. The dog barked loudly at the empty wall, tried to catch someone or just stand and stare at the empty wall. This was a picture in our house: a cat and a puppy were most of the time interested in a completely empty wall in the living room.
As time went on, it worried more and more. The feeling of security in the new home melted right before our eyes. I wanted to collect all my things and escape from this house. I had to sleep with the lights on. But this made it even worse, because you could see how pets rush around the house and try to catch something, or someone. We could not find a logical explanation for what was happening. The answer lay somewhere beyond common reason, and this only made it worse. General stress, lack of sleep and fatigue. They were followed by frequent quarrels and aggression. Life gradually turned into hell.
Once my husband decided to arrange a general cleaning in the house, namely in the barn, in the attic and in the basement. After all, since we moved into a new house, we have not carried out an audit in those places. At that moment I was in the kitchen cooking dinner, when suddenly my husband rushed in with frightened eyes and with a small suitcase in his hand. In the antediluvian suitcase, we saw terrible things: ancient maps, old books with pentagrams, some amulets and other abominations. The husband said that he found the suitcase in the basement right under the place in the living room where the cat and dog loved to spend time.
