Archaeologists sometimes find amazing artifacts of antiquity, the age of which can be estimated at millions of years, but scientists are sometimes confused by such finds, because how to explain this?
Among the things of antiquity, iron weapons of labor are found, the age of which sometimes reaches hundreds of thousands, or even millions of years. Moreover, they find such amazing artifacts, the technology of which remains a mystery to this day, because even with modern technologies, some technologies of antiquity cannot be repeated. So maybe we think in vain that the ancient people were antediluvian and it is worth admitting the possibility of the existence of highly developed civilizations, about which a lot has been said recently?
As in my opinion, the Meridian stone is one of the artifacts of antiquity, which keeps true secrets about its origin. This artifact is also called the stone of Lake Winnipesaukee, which is located in America. The stone itself is kept in the Museum of New Hampshire and is of great value for the study of ancient civilizations. Outwardly, the stone resembles a large egg, on which mysterious images were applied, including the faces of people, or maybe these are not people at all, but some other, highly developed creatures?
So when and who found the Meridite stone, and why are there so many different rumors, speculations and hypotheses around it?
The mysterious artifact was found in the 70s of the 19th century in the city of the same name - Meridit, where the name of the stone comes from. Workers excavated near Lake Winnipesaukee, where they discovered a stone that has become one of the most famous artifacts. Interestingly enough, the Meridite Stone is a piece of quartzite that has never been found in New Hampshire. Consequently, the artifact came to this area either by accident, or someone hid it in this place.
It is known that the first owner of the Meridite stone was Seneca Ladd, whose workers found the mysterious artifact, then it was inherited by his daughter, and she decided to donate the artifact to the state museum so that as many people as possible could see this miracle. This stone received its full name in 1927 and then it was customary to call it "Meredith Mysterious Stone", which says a lot about the mystery of the ancient artifact, otherwise why add the word mysterious, be it just a pebble with faces?

The stone itself is rather small. Its width is about six and a half centimeters and its height is about 10 centimeters. The artifact has holes and other designs besides the main face on the obverse. Some dots, corn, some hut and some circles. Some have the impression that the artifact has some kind of message for people, but it has not been possible to unravel it at the moment, or maybe this is not a message at all, but an ordinary set of symbols that do not carry any meaning.
Agree that it is rather strange that scientists and historians cannot name the age of the stone and the civilization that could have made it, but for what purpose? There is a hypothesis that the gods gave corn to people in ancient times, maybe the author of the Meridite stone was told about this event? In addition, the technology of grinding quartzite is amazing and scientists also cannot explain how and with what tools they processed this artifact. The world is full of secrets and many of the questions cannot be answered even by scientific experts.
