Scientists who carefully examined the unique pyramid of the Mayan tribe, back in the forties of the last century, determined that there is another pyramid inside it, more ancient than the nine-step one. And just recently, an international group of American and Mexican archaeologists made a sensational statement that they had discovered another, already the third pyramid inside the second. The construction of the Kukulkan temple structure in the form of a nesting doll can have both the fourth and the fifth pyramids, that is, a whole set of such "nesting dolls", and it is difficult to determine their number. Archaeologist Deniss Argote added that they date the age of the third pyramid 500-800 years, so this construction can be attributed to the so-called "pure Maya" period. The third pyramid of the Kukulkan Temple was discovered using ultra-modern technology developed by scientists at the National University of Mexico. The height of this "nesting doll" is about ten meters.
