Sometimes there are miracles in the world that are difficult to explain from the point of view of science, and versions appear about the intervention of a certain entity, which in religion is called God, the Creator, as well as other powerful entities. Scientists have been trying to explain the mystery of the Holy Fire for a long time, believing that this may be one of the greatest hoaxes of mankind. Skeptics often use various methods to exclude the possibility of the divine and mystical in our world.
There are several versions of the origin of the Holy Fire, among them there is a theory of alien origin and versions of chemical processes that many people may not understand and believe in a divine miracle. Ministers of different religions do not often allow scientists to research various shrines and artifacts, but sometimes it does happen. For example, in 2008 the Russian physicist Andrey Volkov managed to get close to the secret of the Holy Fire, but his research can hardly be called arguments in favor of science, this is what he wrote:
Despite the strange incident with Volkov, I do not really believe in the divine origin of this miracle. It seems to me that this is a religious hoax for people to convince a large number of people into the existence and power of God. Church workers often take such steps, but often prevent scientists from researching such miracles.
