Almost 50% of the American political world hates President Trump. Sincerely hate. This is not an easy disregard, as was the case with 43rd President "Dabya" Bush because of his cowboy foreign policy. This is not disrespect for George W. Bush - "he is lightweight, but rather harmless, so we can play with him in the same sandbox." This is even deeper than outright ridicule and contempt towards Ronald Reagan.

No, it goes on. This is hatred at a deep, inner level. At the level of "we will resort to violence if it helps to get rid of it." They really, really hate him - personally, politically, in any way you can imagine.

That's why:

He is not one of "them". He has not been a politician all his life and does not practice the usual conventions of only mentioning his fellow politicians with false courtesies, nor does he maintain a tradition of respectful treatment of hostile media. On the contrary, if rival politicians or celebrities behave badly, then he speaks of them in no uncertain terms, in the most horrifying "non-presidential" way. In addition, he changed the rules of the game against "liberal" media (coining the term "fake news") and forever put an end to the old Republican tradition of backing down and repenting in the face of criticism from the "liberal" media. He set an example for many ordinary Republicans. Now they, too, do not yield and resist. Trump showed them how. He will never be forgiven for this.

His tweets tend to be edgy and extremely direct. The "liberal" media hate that President Trump has found an effective way to outwit the "liberal" media filter and bypass it entirely. In response, they sharply intensified their attacks, trying in vain to undermine his authority. But whether bluntly worded (to the point that even some Republicans cringe) or not, his tweets are invariably based on truth, and they match exactly how his supporters feel. The "liberal" media and Democratic opponents in Congress hate him for this.

His enemies carry utter nonsense, such as “He is destroying the Constitution,” or “He is a Russian asset,” or “He is a racist, misogynist, opponent of immigrants and Hispanics, homophobic, Islamophobic,” and so on, ad nauseam. All this is sheer nonsense. Mueller's investigation and so-called "impeachment" was a colossal waste of time and money, and not the slightest of claims were proven. And yet his sworn enemies continue to accuse him of the insane hope that something will remain. (Attributed to Goebbels: "Lie more, something, let it remain")

The real reason they hate him so much is because he has done so much and kept so many promises, making the lives of many Americans tangibly and clearly better. From tax cuts and cuts in employment-disruptive, onerous regulations, to strengthening border security, to liberating domestic energy production to the point where we are now essentially energy independent (proven by the lack of oil / gasoline price increases since last year's Iranian attack on the Saudi refineries), to the appointment of two Supreme Court justices and nearly 200 federal justices, to the incredible growth of the stock market (thus preserving and guaranteeing the viability of pension plans for millions of retired Democratic unionists),to the lowest unemployment rate in decades across all demographics (including women and minorities); to military overhaul; to great new international trade agreements that vastly improve the plight of American workers, President Trump has clearly made life in America so much better for almost everyone …

And he wipes the Democrats' nose every day, without embarrassment and pointing out precisely that he has achieved in just three years what Democrats have not been able to do in decades. He showed that his path is the right path. This gives results. The Democrats and Fake News are too busy trying to undermine his leadership, because his critical, restrictive tweets inexcusably expose DC corruption and insidious insider behavior that puts the needs of immoral bureaucrats ahead of the American people. Trump's success shows Democrats that their path is wrong and he is right.

Promotional video:

President Trump does not expect to get rich after leaving office (he is already rich), he does not hope to make friends with the top of the entertainment world (he already had a multi-year popular TV show), he does not want to become a bestselling author (he is already). Unlike any former president, he is not obligated to party bosses and sponsors, and therefore is free to choose the interests of the country as the main motive.

But what they hate the most is for this: they know he is going to wipe out any Democratic candidate who is nominated in November 2020. For desperate democrats seeking to implement their plan of state control over people's lives, with their desire to set limits on personal wealth, severely restricting market capitalism and entrepreneurship, with their irrational desire to ban fossil fuels long before a suitable replacement is developed, and, of course, with their well-known Rejecting centuries-old social norms of gender determination and free expression of opinion and religious beliefs, the prospect of another four years in President Trump's rule is truly daunting.

I would hate him too.
