1. Haunted house
In the center of Vladimir, on Bolshaya Moskovskaya Street, there is a building, which is popularly called the "haunted house". It was built in 1798. At the moment, it houses the Center for Fine Arts. There are several versions of this building's strange nickname. The first is poor ventilation, due to which the wind blew in the rooms, which seemed to many to be something supernatural. The second reason is that according to some local historians, the name was taken from the feuilleton of the same name, in which the author ridiculed the soulless officials who worked in this building. There is a third version for all mysticism lovers. The name comes from the spirit of the wife of one of the governors, who died at a young age, and her spirit roams the building, not knowing rest.
2. Island monastery
Not far from the Intercession is the Svyato-Vvedensky island monastery. In 1760, Elder Cleopa of Athos became the abbot of the desert. According to legend, he foresaw the future and healed people. Now there is a convent there.

3. House of Ilya Muromets
According to legend, the Russian hero was born in the village of Karacharovo, Murom district. There now you can find his house, with a corresponding sign.
4. Filthy tub
In the Aleksandrovsky district there is the city of Karabanovo, not far from which there is an amazing place, which is called "Filthy tub". It is a deep funnel-shaped cavity, almost perfectly round. A small swamp formed there. According to legend, a meteorite once fell here. In addition, a pagan burial ground was discovered at this place.

These are buildings with magnificent architecture that once belonged to noble families, but are now in a dilapidated state.

6. Bald Mountain
This unusual place is located in the Gorokhovets area. And it is unusual because, according to one of the legends, this mountain is a huge mound at the burial place of the Khan of the Golden Horde. But this is just a legend. Experienced scientists reject it. In addition, it was previously believed that various sorcerers and witches gathered on the mountain.
7. Parking lot of ancient people
Not far from Bogolyubovo, scientists discovered the site of an ancient man, which was named Sungir. Our ancestors lived there 25 thousand years ago. Pieces of clothing were found, it was possible to restore the approximate appearance of ancient people. In addition, a unique figurine was found at this place - a small horse.
