The impetus for the development of such a hypothesis was the emergence of quantum mechanics, which studies interactions in the subatomic world. In particular, the results of the experiment carried out in 1982 served as a confirmation of the illusory nature of the surrounding world. But it is worth remembering that this effect works only in the world of elementary particles, in which completely different laws operate, which are very different from the laws of the macrocosm. However, some researchers are inclined to believe that this may be an excellent proof of the virtuality of our universe.

Lately, researchers have been constantly looking for evidence that our universe is a virtual hologram. And sometimes they find facts that indirectly indicate this. Other scientists deny the very possibility of the virtuality of the world, proving this by the fact that to create such a hologram would require a computer larger than it, but this is impossible.

If it can be proven that the entire universe is virtual reality, it will, according to some, open up new horizons for innovation. As a result, new technologies will appear, which are considered fiction today. It is the theory of the virtuality of the universe that can perfectly explain such difficult questions as dark matter, the Big Bang, and others, over which scientists from many countries are struggling. However, clear evidence of this has not yet been obtained, so it is premature to say for sure that our world does not really exist.
